Dante just mentioned it for private messages: I think its a nice feature in general. For instance, over at gametrailers.com its possible to report problematic posts, comments, and private messages via a button located above (and assigned to) each individual post, comment or private message.

Definitely. Ive never seen it for PMs but definitely a feature to be implemented. I hadnt even realised it wasnt there :dead:

I just thought it would be nice to be able to report posts easily and properly, I think report user rather than report post would be better suited.
definitely makes it easyer as its a pain using the ps3 with out copy n paste

That would make the mods job more difficult as theyd have to search the forums to find the incriminating post. Dont worry, the post is always attached to the user anyway ;)

I think that mods do a great job in finding incriminating posts quickly, I think its better that repeat offenders are reported rather than someone making one mistake, and besides, people could include the link to the post when they report the user.
True, but they do have a life and cant be a seeing.
I have a plan for repeat offenders, an evil plan. Warnings tracker, works wonders!

Actual coded tracker. Yellow flag for warnings, red flag for instant ban. The warnings are automatically tracked and points are deducted from the total allocated points according to the offence. When the points are over...well, you know what happens then :)
That sounds great. Is it a mod thing only, or will it appear beside user names over on the left there etc.
Its only visible to the mods but the offenders receive notification of the warning. Its a very neat little tool :)
