View Full Version : Please help - a wifi problem
Im using a Wifi router, because i want internet for my ps3 and my brother´s cellphone.
Router worked fine for a month and suddently, it stopped. The cabel connection still works but i cant connect via wifi connection with my ps3, neither cellphone, can someone please give me an advice what the hell´s going on?

Have you tried a different chanel by restating the router or gadgets? Sometimes mine stops working because of other wireless networks around. :)

Well, theres one button on the router, i pushed it, it started to blink, i unplugged both internet cables, plugged them back, i found the wifi network via ps3 but i cant enter it, i dont get it, im sure the password is correct

Can you find out if the button you pressed is the AOSS, or can you say what it does?
I´ll look at it tomorrow, im prettzy drunk right now, but thanks for your help so far :).
Im happy that i´ve at least somehow managed to get the router to work, i dont know anyting about routers.

Well, its the only button on the router so it could be what you said, i dont know what it does, i have read the instruction manual and theres nothing about that button.
The logo on it is like recykle and it blinks blue for like a minute.
The signal strenght is 90 percent so i dont know why i cant connect. But what really baffles me is why did it stopped working :/. I heard from my friend something about MAC adress or what...

On anther note does your router have a reset button? You may need to use a Pin or a needle to push it. If it does you could always reset your router. You would need to re-set up you router security though.
It does have a reset button.
Thanks for the link but the guy there has a different problem, he cant find the wifi signal, i can, but i cant connect to it.
Do you know how to reconfigure the router?
Without knowing what the button does, and looking at the pictures of it I can't even see a button to push:

Perhaps the best it for you to reset it and configure it again...:stretcher:
The button is on the side, thats the funny thing about that picture :D.
Ill try and reset it and i´ll give you my results, i hope it will work
I reseted it and... it works!
It took my 20 minutes to configure it properly but it works, thanks for help guys :)
