Alright to the actual topic of this post now. Capcom is the only publisher to support the PC with high quality "ports" (considering that the engine is originally running on a PC) and we can but hope that Super Street Fighter IV is no exception. So far it's been only announced for 360 and PS3 unfortunately. Any news here?

No news, sorry :( But generally speaking, we'd often announce a PC version at the same time. That said, the SF dev team are a force unto themselves. They're now saying an arcade release shouldn't be ruled out, and as you've so accurately pointed out, the arcade version (the source code for the original) is PC code.
None of that helps, I realise.
No SSF4 PC version after the great SF4 PC version (with excellent benchmark tool) would be unfortunate. Oh well, Capcom giveth, and Capcom taketh away ;)
A bit off topic but how does Tatsunoko fit into all of this? Totally different platform, but it's rather close to the tentative release date of SSF4 and might be in danger of being neglected by the marketing department!

He He i will add my 3 pennies to this topic. What about Linux version ? Heh ? Id Software can do it no problem. I got their every game running on Linux.
If you don't want to do it yourself ask Linux Game Publishing to do that, they will be happy to do so and you will get bags full of money of Linux users.
