Which is the better bow?(mhf2)

I have akantor bow and just recently created glorious victroy. Akantor bow has 300 attack 200 dragon elemental with 50% affinity while glorious victroy has 336 attack 270 dragon elemental with 20 defence and no affinity. I can kill white fatalis within 40-45 minutes with akantor bow(solo). So roughly how long could I take out fatalis wit glorious victroy? ps glorious victroy cant use any coatings while akantor can use power plus poisoning coating. If anyone requests a guide in killing white fatalis or akantor then reply ok.

Akamu is the best bow in game. The power coatings r pretty damaging + 50% affinity.... 300 , 200 dragon x 0.5 = 450 raw and 300dragon + power coating the attack goes up again. Like i said, best bow in game.

I was thinking that after trying to solo whitey today. You cant forget full azure los armour plus jewels for reckless abandon +3. What if use the bows with the hidden power skill or felyve heroics?

Still use Aka bow. And heriocs/adrenaline only boosts raw not elemental damage, but Id only use White Farta bow on Lao and even then only with 4th level charge.

What does the affinity actually DO? :o

affinity + 50% ( as example ) will increase increase ur attack power x2. 50% affinity will give u a 50% chance of attack x2 boost. 20% = 20% chance, 30% = 30% chance, etc.

Affinity when it works boosts dmg by x 1.25 the % on the weapon is the chance of it working. Also affinity only affects raw damage

OK. I dont look at affinity actually, cause its not really important. It doesnt change the fact slash it to death ^^

can i just point out - affinity isnt ll that bad if you have plus affinity your attacks will be stronger but the monster will flinch less and with - affinity u reverse it monster has better flinch chance but less damage

No flinching is best done with high damage.

Since you dont seem to understand it, flinching is done when a set amount of damage is done to the wyvern, affinity is like the critical hit % of the weapon, negative affinity works the same way but instead of making the attack stronger it nerfs it, thus positive affinity makes the flinch rate higher.

Queen Blaster is a great choice for beginners, it got me through a hell of a lot of situations. noobs first choice. Ratians are suprisingly easy to beat with decent bowgun like white shotty.
