The port of Resident Evil Zero for the Wii was twice rejected by Capcom USA, Christian Svennson reveled the info on the Capcom US Forum, the reasons for rejecting the game were based on nobody in the western world actually wanting to play it...
Nothing is ever final, but weve been asked twice if weve wanted to bring it westward and twice weve declined.
Theres thousands of used copies on Ebay and at Gamestop and given the outcry against the project when Japan announced it on these boards and others, its pretty obvious that its not wanted by gamers here

and Capcom Europe? What do you think about? Did Capcom Eurupe refused RE0Wii too?

The Wii has surpassed the global sales of the GC and Wii sales still rising which to me is perfect to re-introdue Zero

i thought Resident evil 0 was a good game, apart from the stupid main boss marcus, i thought it had a rather good story line, graphics and explained a lot of things i didnt know about the game. i dont know why it wasnt a success, its my third favorite. it was too easy but that wouldnt put the sales down.
i think its a great idea to reintroduce it, the gamecube wasnt a big success even thought i thought it was a good console and easy the use and get used to. but i guess it wasnt good enough to keep up with the improvment in the technology and graphics.
but i am a bit concerned about the controls compared to gamecube, but thats probebly nothing to worry about, it just might be ive been using the gamecube too long.
Capcom europe is a formality.
It has no real power.
That lies partly with capcom US but mainly with capcom japan. So Europe wont get a say, as it is considered to have the same/similar culture as the USA so similar demand as the USA so any major decisions for the west will be made by one of the top two.

Id love to see a Wii remake... It might actually mean Ill dust off the Wii and started using it again.
It really would be amazing and I think that it would sell more than the gamecube version.
The gamecube versions fans would buy it again and the popularity of the Wii would attract more sales for it. I cant see a reason why not, but I suppose that Capcom can.
Maybe sales in the west were too low last time around, and they dont think it would justify the cost of translation, and all the other legal stuff and programming stuff theyd have to go through to get it to the west.
Just play the Gamecube one on your Wii. I dont see how the Wii controls would work with RE0 camera anyway.

According to wikipedia, thats exactly what it is.
Its just a port that makes use of Wii controls, it apparently has not additional content or refinements, so im not really bothered now I know this, if it was a remake with RE4 style controls and improvements, id be angry.
