who is the greatest character, monster or even game out of the whole RE series.
Character - The Ashford Twins, of course. Memorable, interesting, no cheesy attempt at being cool, implanted with a virus.
Monster - Crimson Head, although I hate them too :S
Game - Both Zero and CVX are brilliant games....CVX wins though.
Ark Thompson is the best designed and coolest-looking RE character of them all. (IMO)
Jim from RE Outbreak plays the best of all characters in the RE history (officially) with his dodge glitching, Outbreak online players know what I mean.

William Birkin has always been my favourtie character. He was never really evil...just misunderstood.
He never wanted to take anybody down, or hurt anybody...they just had to be so he could continue with his research. He was a man of science that was purely interested in the advancement of science.
Hence why there HAS to be something wierd with Sherry.
I much prefer Birkin to the Ashford twins...though they do come a close second.

Character - the greatest has to be wesker, he is the ultimate good bad guy. hes the bad guy that everyone likes and hes cool b) ! hes just the best! chris 2nd and leon 3rd
Monster - Nemesis, just because hes always following you, he is the only monster that i was afraid of out of all the resident evil games. just because you never know when he will pop up, and when he does you have to change you pants because youve **** yourself (or maybe thats just me:p ) lisa trevor comes 3nd because shes a freak
Game - REmake, because of its creepy and scary surroundings. just because of that i never played it for 6 years because i was too scared to. 3 comes 2nd and i really want it REMADE but better than on RE: UC i hated it!

The best monster would be Mr.X and I bet that we already discuss here about best RE character. Maybe not? Nevermind, Albert Wesker is the answer.

Game~1st RE4 2nd REmake 3rd RE Zero
Character- Wesker chris and barry
Monster- Has to be the hunter. those things were awesome!!
Game-Remake for sure. It was a great game!

I would have to agree with thezombiemessia William Burken was the best resident evil character. He fought for science not evil and on top of that his character could never be ruined by sequels as he stood out in RE2 but was sadly killed off.

But my all time fav is Baghead... The first time he popped up he scared the living shite out of me... And then when his missus appear to! Had me running or the hills!

greatest character- chris the original man how u think holy crap, i just kicked the giant snakes/plants/big quite hard spiders ass with a shotgun (you cant blame me for not knowing the names coz i was like 6 when i watched my bro play) although i think re5 may spoil his image. carlos second
greatest monster- tyrant off RECVX, although he was slow you were praying to god when you first saw him tht he wudnt catch up to you a giv you a smackin. nemises second
greatest game- RECVX it wud have been RE3 but ther was onli 2 bosses

Monster: NEMESIS!!! Yawn, Tyrant. Also hunters and chimeras.
Game: Ive been playing Umbrella chronicles a lot lately, but Resi evil 4 would be the best!

Leon Kennedy and Ada Wong off course! ^_^ Although I like Rebecca Chambers too.
Though I havent played all of the RE games, only:
RE1 - Directors Cut, RE2, RE3 Nemesis, Re4, RE Code Veronica X, RE Survivor 1 and 2 (Oh how I loved playing with a G-Con!)

Leon Scott Kennedy offcourse .. He wasnt amazing on RE 2 but when you saw it on RE 4 .. He was like a lion :)

hehe i think i am not enough good to be fan of Resident Evil series becauise ii play only Resident evil 2 - Resident Evil 4(finished it 2 times) ... I have only PC so i cant play alloff them .. :( :cry:

Anyway, Hunk was the best. In RE2 4th Survivor, in RE4 Mercenaries and in Umbrella Chronicles ive enjoyed him the most. ( Although i like Wesker too )
In resident evil 2 it is tyrant 103 but my favourite character is Chris Redfield

Monster would be Mr. X. Scared me to death by popping out of that wall...
Game is surely RE2.
Wesker is cool, but didnt really appeal to me, I suppose hes a break from archetypical Turn in to a big monster then get promptly killed by a rocket launcher type villain, but hes sorta unbelievable, in the way he appeared in RE1 where he was uh, caught red handed way too obviously.

Hmmm... my interpretation of that part in RE1 was always, that he actually WANTED to be caught...
I dont know why I like him that much anyway. I just do. And from the very beginning. But I am into this type of guy most of the time... I always go for the bad boys... (Besides... Wesker could be my dad...! Im really strange! -_-)

i was playin on resident evil 4 nd i suddenly reliesed why wud a bad guy want to mutate
for instence saddaler wantz to rule the world ryt ..... so why wud he want to transform into a 4 legged monster wif a parana mouth nd he nomal body jus floppin about or salazar if he wud hav killed leon wot nxt wud the giant plant think suddenly spawn legs nd let him get on wif his normal life ????

Dude, all you had to do was think of a title, its exactly like posting a reply, but this isnt that off topic, I suppose it fits here pretty well.
The bad guys mutate as a last resort, they are desperate and are going to die or turn in to a zombie if they are killed, so they force mutation to both kill the good guy and try and survive the ensuring fight.
If youve noticed in the RE4 cutscenes, Saddlers tentacles and other things come out and easily go back in to his body, so its pretty easy to assume that his parasite is able to go back in him, evident when he fights Ada in Seperate Ways (the extra game in RE4 PS2 and Wii versions) and when he kills Luis.
But anyway, lets just say his final form cant go back in for whatever reason, think of it like this, lets say Saddler wins, Ada is killed, Leon goes back with Ashley and they are both infected with Las Plagas, they go back to the US, infect the president and Saddler has control over the supplies and funds of the US, He has won and is in control, Now, Saddler wont be seen, he will be controlling the president from behind closed doors, the only ones that will see him are probably his worshipers who are all too brainwashed to care, say he infects the world with Las Plagas, the everyone is infected and under his control, everyone would be too brainwashed or too scared to give a damn that he doesnt look pretty.
As for Salazar, his life was never normal, he dedicated his life to serving Saddler, thats why he was so willing to merge with the spawning parasite, he would resume spawning Las Plagas for mass infections, unlike Saddler, he is unlikely to be normal, but wouldnt really need to.
