So wheres all the zombie fans
Dead rising is such a great game. I hope there will be a sequal.
I lot of reviewers complained that the AI was too easy. I dont think that is a problem at all. I love to just slash my way though hordes of zombies. At times it is very easy. But at times you find yourself in a room full of zombies with olny a plant as a weapon and no food! Then there is a challange. I like the fact that I can use even the crappy weapons and still make my way through. Because all weapons are fun. If the AI was hard the crap weapons would not be an alternative. You would always have to be equipped with chainsaws and SMGs. And that is boring. Now let me beat up those zombies with some canned food!

no it dose not have a online mode.
rumour had it that online CO-OP was coming to the 360 Classic edition but the rumour just proved to be a rumour as it never happened

After Capcom announced Spyborgs for the Wii, they explicitly stated that they still had another Wii project in the works. Furthermore, add to that, that a recent preview for Spyborgs in NGamer magazine mentions that Capcom has an Ultra Top Secret Wii Project in development that is an interesting and surprising take on a next-gen favourite. Perhaps this could be Dead Rising? Im only throwing it out there.

apparently Microsoft still hold exclusive rights to deadrissing.
How true it is I dont know, but if its not true I would thought we would have seen a PS3 version by now

I would hate it if PS3 Fanboys get this game.. It would ruin the Exclusitivity of it as I could no more say to Fanboys
Hah we got Dead Rising, Wtf have you got?
Just because people own a PS3 does not make them fan boys.
If DR 2 did come i would get on 360 for two reasons .
1, Gamerscore
2, 360 controller as IMO it much better than both SIXAXIS and DualShock 3

well i like the ps3 controller better because i have small hands.hey have any of you completed dead rising i have never met anyone who has yet
Its not hard to complete the story mode.
Its harder if you hell bent on saving all people.
I have around 700 gamerscore. It just got a bit tedious saving every one.

As good a game as DR is...i find it lacking in so many ways.
I have no complaint about storyline, save points, AI or controls...it is purely the fact that it gets boring after a while.
Setting and enemy types are my complaints. A Mall is a great setting, but it should not be the only setting...and Zombies are excellent enemies...but after fighting thousands of zombies just so i can fight a human...it gets boring. Perhaps different types of Zombies next time? Runners, jumpers, crawling zombies...whatever...just...more enemy types are needed if DR2 ever comes out...
