Special costumes

Hi guys - Im new here, so apologies if this has been asked and answered already...

Im a RE4 fan and have played it many times on the GC. Ive recently bought it for the Wii and love it.
I especially like that I get to play the Separate Ways mini game too - wasnt too happy that the PS2 got that and the GC didnt.

Anyway - I saw on youtube recently some guy selecting Special costumes for Ada Wong on Separate Ways...PS2 version....
He could select the Assignment Ada tactical outfit and he could select the Merc outfit.

Ive tried everything I can too see if I can get that option unlocked on the WII, with no luck. Does anyone know if this can be done on the Wii??

I really need to know. I hope this isnt another feature that the PS2 gets and we dont - no pun intended.

hm.. maybe, but I dont know the answer.
but the PS2 RE games all together > GC RE games.
GC had no RE online which was just lame o_o (also Nintendos fault GC was never online)
Playstation always wins dealing with RE games.

Thanks anyway - it would seem the PS platforms always comw out on top.
Still curious about the Special costumes - especially considering the wii version of RE4 is suppossed to be the ultimate version...
Im guessing that might not be the case at this stage. Great using the wii remotenall....but if it doesnt have all the options, Im not sure why they bothered porting it to the will platform at all.

All said and done, Im still gonna try and find out if those costumes can be unlocked...not much out there on the topic:|

Judging by the hideously deformed PLAYSTATION 2 logo at the start, its a hacked version of an illegal copy.

With the right know-how its possible to alter a DVD image so that it includes cheats and hacks for the game.

I suppose the closest you could get to doing it legally is with cheat code software like ActionReplay, youll have to find the right codes though.

Ah, I see what you mean. Didnt pay too much attention to the start. Nice catch.

It would have been nice if it was a legit option to select the different types of costume once you cleared Separate Ways the first time.

Maybe well get that option down the line.

I wonder what outfit Ada has when you play as Leon in the Gangster outfit....been avoiding that one - not sure if I could face the constant clanking
from Ashley when shes in the armour - so been avoiding it as a result.


Maybe well get a RE game where we can play as Ada full stop :) or at least select her as a choice. I remember RE on the GC, were you could select one or the other and the game was slightly different as a result.
