View Full Version : Community game testers

Hello again
We will be inviting some of the community into the offices to test the game in the near future.
I'm fairly sure that the majority of you would want to do this, but we're limited in terms of numbers.
In my opinion, the fairest way to do this would be to; first of all, find out who wants to take part in the test.
Then ask the rest of the community to vote on who they would like to represent them?
Any better ideas are more than welcome?

Hi Monumental, great initiative!!!Im sure we whould all love to do this! I whould like to participate myself,if you could construckt a sort of Betacode that could be DL on XBL,and email me the code:).It seems a little excesive for me to trawel out of the country tho when im sure lots of others are better qualified, and can be there in a matter of hours, but I whouldent mind a vote.P.S.Im naturally assuming Monumental wont be paying for flighttickets, and hotelbills?:D

I'd love to test the new game.
I've been away from the Motogp series for a little while due to other commitments, but I've been an avid fan of the motogp series since it's ineception on the xbox (owning every game as it's been released).
In fact, I love the game so much it even prompted me to go for a motobike licence (which I managed to pass first time) and subsequently own several bikes.
I've always love the game, it's the only racing game I've ever played where you have a true feeling of speed (although the first couple of renditions of the game seemed to get this a little more accurate than the later ones) so much so that I even found myself bottling out coming up to corners..
I live in London (UK) and would love to take part in any testing..just let me know when and where.. :D

Hi Monumental, theres very few regulars visiting this forum, those that do are probeble members of Unity anyway, and imo we whould be better of just picking someone from there? To be honest I whouldent know who to send from here:confused:I dont really want to go myself,as it seems to be a little more work than I care for, also I dont fotograf as weel as Greg and Tom:)but I whould like to place a vote for Ronin, and Rockgod, and also BDR Daz to care for the kiddie stuf:D(arcade)and I think if you had those 3 guys come in/flown over the hole exp. couldent be a total waist:dry::thumb:

There has been some discussion on the Unity forum regarding this and we're currently investigating running a live TV type internet show that more of you can get involved in. I'll post more details as soon as I have them.

Sounds great Monumental.Im very intrestet in everything relating to MoToGP09/10,and whould ofcourse like to hear what everybody has to say:horray:But hopefully this doesent mean nobody gets to go,because I still whouldent mind a community Hands-on report,by some of the people on the forums we all know what stands for:)

where abouts are Monumental based? London i bet
One thing that i hope the game improves on is being rewarded for coming 1st, 2nd or 3rd with trophee presentation, victory laps and realistic qualifiers.
I would like to test. I love motorcycle racing games, been playing motogp 07 and 08 for awhile. I also have gp bikes and sbk 09. I like to play the more advanced modes, simulation, manual gears etc.. Can give back good feedback!
thx, looking forward to the game!

Okay, we've set the date for the Community visit on Friday December 18th at the Monumental Games Studio in Nottingham, England.
If you are chosen to attend, you will get the opportunity to try the Arcade, Career and Online modes. You'll also be able to speak to the developers, stuff your face with Pizza and wash it all down with various soft drinks. http://www.xboxliveaddicts.co.uk/forums/style_emoticons/default/smile.gif
While we will be providing food and refreshments, you will have to provide your own transport on the day.
If you would still like to be considered for this event and can attend on this date, please PM me to confirm your interest.

We've contacted the 'chosen ones' and as soon as they have confirmed, we'll let you know who they are. At present we only have one confirmed attendee from X-Box Live Addicts forum and that's BDR Daz.

Hi everyone
I'm really sorry to announce that tomorrow's community event has been postponed due to the strong possibility of adverse weather conditions. This could prevent a number of guests being able to make the event, especially those of you who are coming from the South of England.
We all know that a few flakes of snow can stop the country from functioning!
We will be re-arranging the event for early in the new year.
Almightydutch
17-12-09, 15:35
Gutted about this as i had been looking forward for ages to coming along. Heyho see you in the new year!!!!!
Revolution72
17-12-09, 15:39
Can Dutchy and I still come play your game though? lol
Just shut us off in a room somewhere and we'll play it to death... call it endurance games testing :matrix:
Don't really fancy a day getting dragged around the shops by the missus, and that's my fate now
