Looking good.

It's a shame nobody asked him if it was a part of the Ico universe...

WANT WANT WAANNNNTTTT *pushes her face against the screen*

hmm I'm curious about that too, wether it's the same universe as ICO or Shadow of the Colossus.

It'd make sense for it to be. With SotC being directly related to Ico...it'd be odd for Ueda to make a 3rd game in an almost identical style, with an almost identical setting...but to have them be unrelated.

Exactly! If they would continue to expand the universe of ICO like this, it could turn out to be an amazing fantasy experience! I mean, if there's one thing I love about games, is if there's this amazing huge universe to be explored (wether it be in games, books, movies, or whatever). The bigger a universe gets, the better it is, imho!

Agreed.

I always thought that it was a shame that the Ico book (Japan only) is actually non-canon.

Ueda's Ico Universe is massive, and could easily be fleshed out through books and comics. Although, admittedly, this kind of goes against the premise of the games (telling big stories, with little information), but it'd be nice to have some more stuff to go with it all.

Either way, Last Guardian will be a Day One purchase for me...I severely hope that a Collector's Edition is being made for this.

If there would be comics and such, those would be optional, obviously. So the fans that like the 'telling big stories with little information' aspect could just leave those to be, and for the fans that like to know as much as possible about a universe could just buy the books, right? I'd really like some comics...

If there's a Collector's Edition, I'm getting it, nomatter how broke I am.
