I don't normally self promote (as I'm working at Bafta at the moment) but thought this may appeal to some hardcore gamers. Peter Molyneux (founder of Lionhead Studios, Creative Director of Microsoft Studios) is speaking at Bafta on 21st October as part of the Annual Video Games Lecture.

Ticket are £7.50, I'm sure they'll be time to even network and see what the good man has to say. If you are interested you can get tickets here. - http://www.bafta.org/calendar-month.html?Gdate=20091001000000#1524

I'll probably be helping with the Q&A on the night so feel free to say hi ;)

Damn...if I had the money for this, I really would attend.

I like Molyneux...or, at least, I like his work.

Lemme guess, the lecture will claim to be 3 hours long, but will only be an hour and a half long and not include promised subjects. :P

Well it probably won't last 3 hours ;) but around 2 normally, I'm not sure what subjects he will be covering yet, but I'm sure more info will be published nearer the date (which is not too helpful I know). You can always ask him some questions at the end.

They've had Nolan Bushell and Will Wright in previous years and from the video I've seen they are usually quite entertaining.

Ooooh I want to go and will be buying a ticket once I have money again! I need something refreshing and out of routine to break the current monotony otherwise I swear that I might as well join the living dead! :p

Are there a lot of tickets? I can only buy 1 in like 2 weeks!
