I would have to say the saddest moment in Resident Evil would be Resi CV when Claire and steve last talked to each other before steve died  .

When Leon lets go of Adas hand and she falls in Resident Evil 2.

I pretty much got really happy when Steve died in CV because hes a really annoying character.

BUT.. the catchiest thing ever at its time, back in 1998.. when Leon lets go of Adas hand, man. it made go tears to my eyes.
but right now its more like skip skip skip skip, I dont wanna watch this, seen it like friggin 100 times.. SKIP!!

The part where Annette Birkin apologized to Sherry about not being a better mother, and pleaded with Sherry to forgive her before she dies.

When Barry died and handed a picture of his family to the player with a writing telling his children that he is watching from heaven...
Ofcourse that never happened as he still is alive as yet but that was a sad part.

Other death is probably Mikhail his sacrificed his life in an atempt to save Jill and Carlos.

I actually thought Steves death was pretty sad probably because I never found him that irritating as most people do.

Adas fall too though I really hate her.

I wish there where more consequenses in gameplay like Orginal/remake and RE3 had.

I miss those save that character or fail and it dies etc they managed to make a canon storyline anyway even if both Becca and Barry could die in both remake and Orginal.

wha wha wha.. please tell me how and when it happened? because.. all I remember is that she dies the same way in Leon B and A.

and.. I forgot to tell my personal saddest moment of them all.. when Outbreak turned offline. now thats a SAD memory. my last game was an Elimination 1 with Mulan on very hard, nightmare. and when everyone fell down (turned offline) I had to finish it alone and got YOU SURVIVED!! 2 seconds later.. thank you for being a part of our community

Thats probably my vote as well.

As for Adas other death, it happens in Leons B scenario down in the core room. Mr X smashes her againat the core and the self destruct sequence sets off.

I guess therell be no more skip skip skip for you next time? :P

For me it was the very end of resident evil 4 where Ashley is still alive....:( lol.

But no for me it was Adas death scene.

Some of the Outbreak endings. The music fits the mood, and the acting isnt half as bad as the ones in the older games. I also remember getting a sore throat at the RPD guys getting slaughtered in the RE3 intro- go figure.

Resident Evil Zero.

Surely not sir?

Surely Gaiden or Gun Survivor 2: Code Veronica should be considered sadder than Zero...

Resident Evil Zero.

It wasnt that terrible..
The Wii release of Resident Evil Zero MAYBE.

Id say realising the scenarios in Resident Evil Outbreak do not connect well.

There havent been many sad moments, mainly because the characters arent well developed enough to warrant any emotive responses in certain situations.

As such, I think the closest thing to sad is Adas death in RE4, where Leon lets go of her, and Luiss death because he seemed like a genuinely likeable character, despite being introduced in that game.

That being said, Ada was also only introduced in RE2, so I guess >_> yeah >_>

When Wesker dies I went Nooooo when I was like 3 years old Because I didnt understand the storyline because I never got that far, I just watched my brother it wasnt until I played it at age 8 or 9 I realised he worked for Umbrella, When I was littler I thought he was some hip-cop who had an awesome hairstyle and sunglasses

Rebecca Chambers encounter with Zombie-Edward in RE:Zero was very heart breaking.

Yeah that was pretty sad. On my second time around I decided to choose Billy to stay behind instead of Rebecca and on my way to the end when the cutscene suddenly started I went Whoa wait, I dont remember this...

But the saddest moment in RE for me was taking down Lisa Trevor. I mean...to open up a coffin and cause her to jump to her death. It disturbed me at first but it really is a tragic moment.

The saddest moment is when lisa trevor dies in resident evil remake

If it was not for you opening the crypt to reveal Jessica Trevors skeleton, there was a high probability Lisa would have killed you, if that helps take away any sentimental value.

just a small point I think you missed.

Dante2014

Well, I think the whole Trevor family story is tragic, but I saw it as putting Lisa Trevor out of her misery since her life could never be normal, even if she was captured alive, she would still be a murderous mutated wreck, besides, she, uh, Umbrella Chronicles has her actual moment of death.

My saddest Moment would be Steve dying in C:V. Yes he WAS annoying. And I didnt like him very much... but that was something he just didnt deserve! I actually DID cry...
In the same game, I was sad when Alfred died. Call me crazy, but I liked him...

In the REmake I had Barry killed accidentially. I didnt know, that would happen, but when I saw it, I was like: OMG, what have I done?

Maybe Im the only one, but it made me sad seeing Brad die in RE3...

Well, and Ada dying in RE2 was more like my most happy moment. I hated her from the very beginning and when she fell it was like someone heard my prayers... But still I was happy when she wasnt dead after all. Because you shouldnt say bad stuff about dead people (thats what my mommy told me...). Well, she isnt dead, so I can say that she deserved it. Every little bit of it.

Even so, the story of the Trevor family was tragic. Its a different feeling taking down a girl turned monster after reading through her and her parents personal lives. If I hadnt read the diaries, or even visited the cabin and underground cave, then I probably would have thought nothing of it.

Maybe Im the only one, but it made me sad seeing Brad die in RE3...

When I first saw that I think I was more shocked than sad. Really, his death was so sudden too... Brad should have lived. /=

Thanks! Good to know Im not completely alone with that one. A friend of me said that Brad deserved it for leaving the others in RE... but I mean... at least he came back! And Ill always love hearing him calling Jill an Amazon... U_U Rest in Peace, Brad!
