That's damned impressive. Guinness Book of orld Records are claiming it as "The most Critically Acclaimed SuperHero Game Ever." which is an achievement in and of itself.

A fantastic game, that should stand as a benchmark for all future SuperHero titles.

This could do for SuperHero Games what Iron Man and Batman Begins did for Superhero Films...

Lets hope this sets a standard, Arkham Asylum worked because it held the mood rather than toning it down for a more child oriented audience.

I suppose the same could be said of the Batman movies and Iron Man, as in, they can be watched by kids, but not solely inteded for them.

It really is worth it.

At first, I just wasn't sure...but following all the hype...well, the hype was backed up by videos. And then it was backed up by the user reviews, and the professional reviews.

It isn't perfect...I don't think there has ever been the perfect game, but it's very good at what it does.

I'm really happy with the way this game is doing, especially because it's actually a really solid game.

That, and with Rocksteady saying a sequel's likely to happen if it sells well, this really has me rooting for that.

This game definitely deserves the praise. It's weird too, because it's only their second game!

I'm very impressed, none the less. =D

Full credit to rocksteady, it's a quality game. I've never seen so many positive reviews, it's metacritic rating is through the roof. Plus with the free DLC content there's more to come.

I'm guessing there will be a sequel but it will be interesting to see what other projects they release.

I also haven't played this, but what with this post and the reviews around the net. I might have to change that and buy it.

Awesome. I got round to completing it the other day.

I thought the final boss fight was rather anti-climatic (as where most boss fights, excluding Scarecrow and Killer Croc), but it was a good game in the bulk of it, the way Batman found his gadgets during the progression of the game, the way they captured the power and feel of Batman, simply perfect.

I was a little disappointed with the boss fights that involved simply beating up even more thugs.

The Scarecrow bits were my favourite. I thought they were pretty damn awesome. It kinda got dry by the last one though.

Actually I'm kind of curious about whether a sequel is in the works. Yes I saw the final cutscene.

Oh I actually quite liked the final fight, mostly for how it looked and the premise more than for the thug-fighting.

The thing is, the Boss Fights were typical Batman. In the comics, except for when he's going up against an actual Super-Villain, he just fights his way through thugs, and then punches the Villain in the face and slaps some cuffs on him.

Batman mostly faces off against Mob Bosses, so it's to be expected that it would be fighting thugs.

This is why Killer Croc and Scarecrow stand out so much, because they aren't just normal Mob Bosses.

Which ending did you get? Scarecrows arm, Killer Crocs arm, or Banes arm?

....THERES THREE VARIATIONS?

Wow... I got scarecrow's arm.

Lol, yup.

And, most people are certain it's randomly generated. So you could play the game 3 times, and only get the same secret ending...

Spoilers (Highlight to read, but, play the damn game first!):
All three make sense since they all end up in the water, but its actually kind of frustrating knowing that only one has the potential to continue, Bane on Titan, Killer Croc on Titan and maybe Scarecrow using Titan with his Terror gas...

Same.

I'm kinda wondering whether it has anything to do with difficulty. I played through on normal.

Seems it is random...

I heard it was down to the percentage of completion. I received Bane.

I think the reason the boss fights were so poorly handled was due to the fact the combat engine was built around the idea of groups of enemies and singular foes, which did not translate well into the boss segments and made them feel very cumbersome. I think I would have preferred it had the Villains of Arkham simply been standard battles with a health bar and reversal move-list similar to Batman's. It was a shame to have great build ups and then be let down completely by the battles themselves.

I also got Bane. I had 240/240 Riddles, all tapes, character profiles, Statues, etc.

84% of the entire game complete.

What about you?

I had 60-something percent completion. My intention is/was to finish and then do the riddles after.
