Is anyone besides me really angry that monster hunter 3 is not being released on the ps3 only on the wii it wud be so much more fun on the ps3 i know alot of guys from the first game agree wit me WHY CAPCOM WHY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Wii is cool but when comes MHF3
If I have to be honest, I was looking forward to seeing it on PS3 as well. To me, having a really hi spec Monster Hunter where you could see all the attention to the details in their gear and the world in general would be really something. However, MH3 on Wiis probably gonna be really well made and fun nonetheless. And some more good news is that Capcom stressed to say that Monster Hunter wasnt exclusive to Wii shortly after the announcement of MH3 for Wii. So it still might come a MH for PS3/360.
i would really like it to come on ps3 but there have already been many topics on this so im not gonna write on about how capcom isnt releasing on ps3

Im not to fussed about MH 3 being a Wii exclusive, but I would like to see a sequel to MH Frontier to come on PS3/Xblox that would be better all round.
Well I would willingly get a Wii just for this. However then I would have to buy a Wii fit thing to keep my girlfriend happy and that would annoy me watching her try and play on that. NOTE:I do not have anything against girl gamers...just that my girlfriend is horrible at stuff like this.

You should just stop asking why capcom made MH3 for Wii, just accept it. Capcom does whatever they want, u cant stop em, they just do it. If they see more potential in the Wii then on other consoles, then they ll develop for that. Only if you dont see their reason, it gives u not the right to complain about their actions. If u want to change somethin, go n do it urself. There r so many Why MH3 for Wii??? Topics.... just give up and accept.

See thats one thing I dont think Capcom have thought about. MH is the most addictive game ever. And obviously some of the 1000s of hours spent playing it are going to be done over night. So obviously your either going to be a) to tired to continue swing after a day of hard swinging or b) knock something over and awake everyone at 4 in the morning and going to have to hide behind the sofa to avoid being seen.

lol im always thinkin about my right arm.... swinging the wii-mote til mh3 servers will be shut down.... my right arm will be twice as big as the left due the muscles i got during the quests
Would be a true hunters arm though. Lol instead of pictures of the current leader board I can see pictures of who has gained the most inches on their arm.

You do know the wii also has a normal style control pad available I hope that capcom support it in MH 3.
What I dont understand is people saying their arm are going to ach and muscle will get big.
Its like your holding a actual sword.
Using the Wii mote correctly is no more strenuous than the PS3 pad or any other gaming pad.

Well swinging aroun the mote 8hours / day n that probably 2 years+ long.... just imagine ^^ Stamina training lol
You dont need to swing it around.
Little movements work just as well if not better.

Did u ever play Zelda on Wii ? U must shake the Mote constantly to do combos... should be like that on MH3 aswell. N that is hard to do 8h straight.

Yes I have played Zelda and never once needed to use the Wii mote vigorously at all.
A lot of people dont seem to realise you can use the Wii mote gently and get the same result if not better.

Yea ... Wii is a console to have fun with, not to be gentle with. Shake,shake,shake - not slow,slow,slow. And besides that, swinging a GS with the right movement is better than sitting on the sofa doin a gentle swing dont u think ?
All consoles are fun hence the reason I play them.
I have fun playing the games not on how I use the controller.
But why swing the Wii mote like a sword when its not needed is what I dont understand or are people just getting carried away whilst playing?

Not really if I wanted to do that I would play real tennis.
Each to their own I guess.
I was exaggerating when I was saying about it. But I would guess some people could get fully carried away with it. And in my opinon part of the fun of games such as Wii Tennis is the realistic swinging...maybe not with games like MH though.

with owning all I dont care which platform its on..
If the games successful the servers should be on for 5 to 10 years, thats not really comforting.
The game is not big in the west so the chance of the servers remaining on beyond 18 months must be slim, unless they use the option for worldwide servers and not regional servers like what has been used in the past.

Well im just saying its not logic to bring MH3 out for Wii first and later the same game for PS3. PS3 will get its own MH in the next few years, but this will take a few. Everyone has a Wii, and those who dont, will get one cause its cheap. Like Spike, i got all 3 consoles, so i do not care which console either.

well...as I stated before..I am going to wait a while after the release of MH3 for the wii. If nothing comes out for the ps3 and the MH3 on wii looks good Ill get a wii just for MH3 since I am not a big fan of the wii...that console just hasnt impress me and if I buy one it would be just for a MH since the MH series are my favorite game.

Lol Capcom gives a **** about people like u, like if they care if u buy it or not, MH3 will be a great success without u and ur friends aswell. Only cause Nintendo has games like Mario it doesnt mean its a Kiddie Console..... If u ever played a Nintendo Console, ud know it has the best Jump & Runs which r very great, best Mulitplayer Titles like Mario Party, Mario Kart etc, and now MH3 will join among these other great titles. If you dont own all consoles at least do so research on the games and consoles before you choose.
But the PS3 has more decent games now and in the future than just MGS4.
Well, last time i heard about Monster Hunter 3, was that Sony is ready to buy the rights to publish the game to ps3 also. But im not 100% sure of that!
I dont have the link to it atm, but ill post it here when i find it again.
Sony announced over a year ago they would not be buying any exclusive rights for the the forseeable future.
Which is why they sadly they longer own the F1 licence.
Never heard anything about them bagging Monster Hunter licence either.

Freeloader only works if you have not updated the Wii firmware.
Also the Wii Freeloader is not as reliable as the GC version was and that was not that reliable with all the GC Freeloader updates.

Well... i noticed the other MH3 topic (Have people lost hope on MH3?) got closed so i ll post right here.
Capcom announced it as a Wii exclusive game but i personally dont think they gave up on the ps3 version. I mean they already worked on it and spent money for. They stoped working cuz they thought the ps3 system will not sell well but that was a failure. Maybe they work on it again now as they noticed the ps3 isnt as bad as they thought.
I just can hope they ll bring it for ps3 aswell cuz iam not goin to buy another console (even if i d have the money).

If MH3 comes to ps3 by any change and capcom decides to publish it only in japan, theres no worries. Ps2 was not a region free so if you wanted to order a game from japan you had to order a japanese ps2 with it. But thats good about PS3. PS3 is region free, so any japanese games works on it.
I dont mind japanese texts since if you play it a whole lot you begin to understand each buttons function and stuff.
Also (im not sure tough) but i heard that Wii isnt a region free console. So if mh3 was published like mh2 youll have to buy japanese Wii.

Ye man, i think those Wii haters never played Wii. If the played it they know how much fun it is, the controlls r great, the games r great, the Downloads in the Wii Shop r superior, best old timer games man. You know, ive played Super Metroid on the SNES when i was young, now when i downloaded from the shop i feel so nostalgic, its so great playing the best games from nintendo again.

You know, ive played Super Metroid on the SNES when i was young, now when i downloaded from the shop i feel so nostalgic, its so great playing the best games from nintendo again.

Seeing as how Capcom moved MH3 to the Wii alot of you are dissappointed, I am also dissappointed, but not so bothered as I have a Wii and a PS3.
I was thinking because the Wii is a big selling console in many countries. They are sold out in the UK in most places, the PS3 is still selling, but probably not as much as the Wii. Capcom must of done this for the advertising, Nintendo will advertise most likely around the world, I dont know any game that out for the Wii that isnt sent out of Japan. I bet you as soon as Capcom have got alot of people playing the game on the Wii thanks to Nintendo they might send this game to the PS3 or other MH games on the PS3, 360 and Wii outside of Japan.
I just wish I worked for Capcom in Japan.... I could convince them to send it outside of Japan. Good thing Im studying ICT at College soon, including game designer and stuff. Just need to learn Japanese....

The Ps3 is technically superior to the Wii.
And dont forget one fact, the most who own a Wii are kids and i dont believe a 7-years-old-boy knows how to lock or how to kill. Look at the most topics here how can i kill kut-ku and i guess those who created these topics are much older.

I played RE1 Director s Cut when i was 8 or 9 years old.
PS3 has way better graphics so the new weapons (I love the idea of an axe!) and new monsters can have more detail. Also, and I have experience of this, sometimes whilst youre waving the Wii remote around it does something different to what you wanted to do, and if youre in the middle of a fight against a really hard monster that could mean that you lose the battle:!:
PS3 beats the Wii hands down, no doubt about it.

The Wii is not owed by mostly children.

Only HIM!? what about meeee and my Myu special edition Wii. But seriously the people who whine about MH Tri are probably 13 year old teen rebels. And Nintendo are still the best 1st party developers in the industry IMO.
what i dont understand if people want to play the games with the best graphics then why are they playing on consoles? PCs leave both PS3 and 360 standing.

I was offered one but not being a PC gamer I did not see the point in that PC.

crysis plays on mine I only spent 240GBP. That was the game demonstrated before I bought it.

Well I read that Capcom is bringing MH3 out for the Wii because its cheaper but I bet once Capcom makes enough profits theyll probably bring it to the ps3 because all monster hunter fans origanily came from playstation titles and also if MH3 is a success on Wii imagine how well the sales will be on ps3 with more ps3s sold in europe than in any other console!!!:) :)

The Wii has more consoles in europe than any other current gen machines.
PS3 and 360 are close the last time i looked.
even owning all i would prefer it multiplatform so I can play it over XBL rather than PSN and Wii.
