Yes Id like to see Devil Kings 2 as well. Maybe merged with Heroes we can hope to see both the Wii version and the PS2 version? The first one DID sell pretty well in the UK after all :)

The main reason i signed up to this site is because i want sengoku basara 2 to be released in Europe.

Wikipedia said cos of the negative reception towards Devil Kings they refused to release the sequel anywhere other than Japan.

I think the game didnt do well because it lacks alot of things to do, after playing conquest mode with all the characters the game becomes repetitive with not much else to do except from level up the characters.

But Sengoku Basara 2 looks like it has alot more to offer than Devil Kings with a broader character roster, new modes, new enemies and much more.

I think the fans of this game should write letters to capcom to release the game in their countries. Maybe it might get them to release it in other countries, letters work with mostly everything else.

CAPCOM BRING SENGOKU BASARA TO EUPROPE PLEASE!!!!! :d

DEVIL KINGS 2 HEROES

Ok, guy that operates this site go to your boss and make him releasing DEVIL KINGS 2 HEROES for europe and America !!

I don't understand **** about people, look at all these games these days .. its sooooo always the same shooter but now with better graphics and physics .. but where the hell is the addictive gameplay ? I'm so sick of these commercieled games like halo and gears of war. Let me say it like this, i had it mostly with videogames .. on a day i went to youtube a typed something like hack n slash games or something like that. That was the first time i saw Sengoku Basara 2, i was emazed !! still looking at these vids. i'm now considering myself to let this game ship to europe to play it .. ok everything will be in japanees but i don't care, i just want to play this game so badly !!!!! I don't understand why there isn't any release yet from this game in Europe and America. Would be alot easyer for me to get a copy you know, now thats not all when i have this asian version of the game i can't play yet, i need to find a program that can eu do something with the dvd rom to be able to play it on a eurpean ps2 (i forgot what the name of the program was). So thats a lot of work, and yes no problem for me i will get it anyway. But it would be soooooooooo much better to just make a european and american version from the game.

Capcom if you want to make money, continue with this serie cause its EPIC !! mark my words.

Greetz from Belgium

(ps. i know i shittyed a lot and my english sux but whatever i just want this game :p)

Please mind your language in the future, Simon.

The game is unlikely to ever be presented outside of Japan, due to mediocre sales in the states and EU territory's.
If you really want the game, then you can import Sengoku Basara Heroes on psp, which has the original cast of characters all playable (including the characters that were unplayable in Devil kings, such as Shibata (Zaan), Motochika (Arslan), etc..) and the characters from Sengoku Basara 2, such as Fuuma and Keiiji Maeda. ;)

As soon as I get my psp back, I'm importing it.

@Jarlino

And you'll let me play, right? ^_^

It would be great to see this game coming this way, but as you said, I don't think it will! Import Japanese version it is!

Shimazu (Zaan)
Fixed. :D

Speaking as someone who imported Heroes I'd be all for it; I'd buy a second copy to show my support. :D

But I have to share the reservations of some here, for instance;

I don't understand **** about people, look at all these games these days .. its sooooo always the same shooter but now with better graphics and physics ..

That's kinda why it wouldn't do well, sad to say. It has proper old school style, it's not even Dynasty Warriors maps with merging paths, you start at one end and the big bad is at the other end signalled by a large demon head on the map. Some people might decry it as being linear but I love it that way, it's like playing the sidescrollers of old on drugs. TO me it's great, and I'm sure there's enough p-eople on this forum who'd enjoy it, but the public at large just doesn't seem to be into that sort of game anymore, what's the point in releasing a game where only a few people scattered across the continent would actually buy it? Capcom's used to making mega bucks, I do hope they don't stop releasing more "out-there" titles like Basara and God Hand and so on in Europe.

Also I remember it has Metal Gear Solid syndrome, where the characters mouths don't move, the faces don't animate at all actually.

Devil Kings did seem strange at the time though for dropping the original Sengoku basing in favour of something completely fictional. Sure, many western people might not know too much about the Sengoku Jidai and wonder why it wasn't Samanosuke fighting Oda, but to replace that with the likes of Scorpio, Red Minotaur and Q-Ball ( poor Zaabii.... ) didn't seem any more likely to catch the gamers' eye than a period they knew little about. At least if they'd kept the Sengoku setting they'd probably have had a better shout at tapping into KOEI's market of people who play the Warriors games and grow to like the history behind it.

But at the end of it all; if Capcom were to try it again then I'd recommend SB2: heroes as the best choice, certainly it's my pick of the series. Although Battle Heroes with it's multiplayer options might be a good shout.

Ah thanks for correcting me on that.
I always thought he was Katsuie Shibata, rather then the Devil Shimazu.

And..that's kinda all I have to add. X_x

It's understandable, they did both have the devil moniker from what I remember. I really do hope Shibata makes an appearance if they do a proper third game though, Shibata being the dark side trying to take Oichi away from Nagamasa would be pretty cool, hopefully the anime will do well enough to warrant a game sequel. :)

Don't get me started on the anime.

Just watched Episode 6, and it made me cry manly tears.

But.. this is hardly the place to discuss that.
So I'll open a seperate thread to discuss DK/SB related stuff. ;)
