At the moment i am not drinking, as i try not to drink too much.

But if at a pub, or going for a night out, i drink:

Cider & Black

Absinthe

Jagermeister & Red Bull

Aftershock (preferably green, but will settle for red or blue).

I cannot stand lagers or Ales, and tend to only drink Cider or Cider&Black. But i do love my spirits, and will hug a bottle of Absinthe all night...

Im able to hold my drink quite well, and tend to only feel bad if 1. i didnt eat beforehand or 2. i have a stupidly large amount of Absinthe...

Only ever had 1 hangover before as well, and this was only because i had 4 hours sleep before i had to go out to the dentist...

Dont generally drink hard drinks atm cause I have too much time taken up by work or college so wouldnt have a chance to get to a normal level of soberness.

So mainly just alchopops and wine etc at the moment.

But when I have time off work and college then I like vodka mixes and various other liquors.

Ive had absinthe once, and It made me want to chunder, not the strength of it, but for some reason liqurice flavoured drinks dont work for me!

How sad that people think that you need alcohol to have a good time. How sad that people think that they are grown up once they have started drinking, even though alcohol causes you to de-age.
How sad, that people who drink, think that they are better than those who dont. Those people that do not have the will to stay sober; those that cannot grasp the concept that alcohol is depressing.

Why drink, when you can make fun of the drunks?

Because there is nothing wrong with social drinking.

And it is not depressing, its a depresssant. Theres a difference :p

Actually, alcohol has different effects for different people. It seems to depress me, so I try to avoid it where possible.
Also, depressants cause depression, so theres not really any difference.

Im afraid that that is not what depressants do. They just slows down the nervous system, thus slowing down reactions, movement and signals.

Though it does effect different people differently as it effects the brain differently. Before you reach an excessive amount, it can make you feel happy or sad, angry, depressed, hyper, over effectionate or relaxed. Which is why some people drink while out, to use it as a social tool as they are shy but come out differently once under the influence.

I often have a small amount in the evening to help me sleep, as I have tinnitus which makes it hard to sleep, and a small amount helps, though an excessive amount would lead to poor quality sleep and dehydration.

My point it, dont just brand all people who drink as uncivilised mindless drunks, as not everyone is. Though most are ;)
