For what challenging riddles ?, for what having fear and feeling of the nice oldschool headshoots ? and storyline, and zombies...

it sounds soo scary and insteresting that i alredy save money to buy this phenomenal game ! yupiiiiii

That s not going to be scary in any way, and that sucks.
Resident Evil would be changing into a interactive Rambo movie, if they really reduce it to what you described just now.

guys for me is resident evil 4 and 5 as much survival horror as the 1 2 3 outbreak and code veronica! its just evolving and is even for the most of us dead aim a good game? no not at all and there are zombies in it! you have not only classic and new style you have also third firstPShooter Resident Evil Games and what about FPS Umbrella Chronicles? why chase number 5 so hard and not umbrella chronicles? whas this than a so called serious good game?
I think because resident evil 5 is the next successor of the original resi series thats why some people dont understand why it changed that drasticaly in game play, Umbrella cronicals is not the oficial successor nor Dead Aim.If you ask me there,s no way back now for the series only forward maybe we get another Outbreak that would be cool whith next gen and on blue ray it could be huge game in a old setting .

this is for resident evil fans...not for kids nor non fans...

The perspective change was necessary I think, because you can t control the characters that good in the old versions.
Some people compare the control of the characters to driving a car (in a video game), and they are not even that wrong...
What I hate about the new REs is the stupid Rambo stuff.
I assume you all played RE4, so I ll use an example from there:
When Leon thought he just killed Krauser, that Heli appears, right? When that bullet time started and it started to mow down all the zombies, I just thought:
Oh my god this sucks, I hope it s going to stop soon. That moment really destroyed the last bit of atmosphere. It was almost funny, somehow ridiculous
Luckily that zombie with a Bazooka apeared...
I just hope, they won t put in many similar moments like that in RE5, but I won t be able to buy it anytime soon, because I don t have a PS3 (yet).
Maybe I ll buy one when RE5 is released. (Maybe, when it s good that is)
Of course we need change , the old control system was expired but that dozent mean that the re4 camera style is the perfect way for resident evil,
Since resident evil was always 3rd person so you can see the whole character i was thinking about the idea with the lost planet camera 3rd person style and that realistic movement and human reaction and stuff just as in lost planet, but even more realistic with even better graphics , wich would be super nice,
Oldschool shootgun and since the lost planet control system is very eazy it would be eazy to to make some nice headshoots just like in re1, 1 headshoot take even some flash from hes uper boddy down.
More violence more horror, disgusting brutal damage on the zombies with realistic blood and realistic body damage. this is resident evil and this game is not for evryone of cours, who dont like horror, who dont like brutal damage, is not needed to play the game.
Who want resident evil to more like a shooter just get the hell out of here and buy your stupid brainless shooter games, but dont try to destroy a franchiez..

What is with the constant double posting on this forum?
Why do people have to join, just to slag of RE5? There is a RE5 discussion thread, vent your anger in that thread!
And again, i preated, there is no substantial information on the game to even make a judgement on whether it is action or survival horror...seriously...youve seen a few clips in the last trailer that showed Chris firing a few guns at loads of enemies.
So what if i just edited together all of the battle scenes from RE2 and played it to you? Youd see that the game is just pure action, all shooting and no storyline...because that is soooo obvious from a quick 2 minute video isnt it.
Ever heard the phrase Dont judge a book by its cover?
Simply put, dont judge a game that is probably going to take up at least 10 hours of your life first time through on a 2 minute trailer.
