It's the one you've been waiting for. We choose some of your harder questions from the forum based on the first video taster and presented them to the Lead Designer and Producer on MotoGP 09/10.

Listen to Greg and Tom's answers as I struggle to say intuitiveness!

Hi Steve, heard the podcast, and im not very happy about the answers to my quetions. You guys say you dont really need to use the A-button,and tuck in ,in order to win.did you guys perhaps think I was going to be happy just flabbing about in the vind like some fool?No sorry im gonna want to put my head down going out of the corners, and in order to do that I need a good controllerconfiguration, and a way to operate the buttons without gears, and the tuck getting in the way of eachother, and im not entirely convinced that there is such a configuration? With manual gears that is:woohoo:.Also I whouldent very feel comfertable with all the functions you have to fit in,just having someone else pick a couple of configurations to choose from, and then I turn out the idiot for not being able to operate them. But I guess we will all know soon enough:chin:Looking forward to a demo:sleep:

Just watched it and I saw how you guys laughed at my pit road question saying its not important, well, it kinda is. Sometimes when you are bored and feel like screwing around during a race in career, you just ride into stuff and ride in the gravel and pit road. Got to say, I hope you guys add features to pitroad, such as guys walking around at it and some features such as being able to drive in it. Also, when you crash, will the orange guys come and help you get your bike back up and will there be yellow flags? Also, will there be Black flags? So you cant ride backwards, including multiplayer, without being taken out of the race and sent back into the game lobby?
EDIT: Scratch that stupid idea of black flags and riding backwards, how about, if you ride backwards, other players cant see you or run into you? Same with career, cant ride backwards and take someone out...

Also though, will there be stoppy grass! (Thats what I call it) I hope we cant go more then 2 feet off the track unless we slow down and try to get back on the track. If we pass someone during it, some sort of penalty would be cool.

Hi MoNumental, starting to realise just how ungreatful a job it is being a MoToGP-dev.If I have been hard on you good people I apoligise.I dont mean to go on and on about the tuck in,but I wantet to say that I on some level respect the reasoning, and what you are trying to do.What I dont like is that imo its not natural,in the sence that you whould never have to really think about tucking in and press a button.Whereas you whould operate the trottle, the brake Front, and rear, the gears and the clutch, and its imo completely natural, to have ridermovement on the left stick for steering so when you lean the rider to the left, the bike steers to the left.Lean him to the right, the bike steers to the right, push forward the rider tucks in,pull back he sits up.IMO completely logical. That being said.it just one mans opinion,so dont let that stop you if you think you know better. You are never going to please everybody anyway, but im sure most of us are willing to give it a chance.I for one cant wait to see if I have what it takes to be an advanced player:p

Hi Monumental, dont mean to disturb the roaring silence.I take it you guys are busy likking your wounds, but I must say you are taking your chances on this tuckin thing. When you start to change the basic core element of the game you are bound to devide the community into the people that like it better, and the people that dont.Like i'v explained earlier there was nothing wrong with the old way of doing things, and when your not even sure what configuration to use,and start asking the community for one,im not entirely convinced you know what your doing:chin:It just dont seem to me to be a smart thing to do,and I have to say that had I been in a position where I could have influenced this,I whould never had let you do that,NEVER! I whould have taken my close and gone before id see that happen! It just seems to me to be an unnessesary feature/gimmick,and like they say"if it aint broke, dont fix it".

Hi Monumental, dont mean to disturb the roaring silence

There's no silence, it's just that the dev team are really busy at the moment, so answers to your questions won't be flowing as quickly as you would like.

I'm collating the latest batch this week and will hopefully get some replies over to you later next week.

While we're keen to keep you updated, the game comes first.

If you haven't listened to the audio podcast, you can now watch it on the official MotoGP YouTube page. (http://www.youtube.com/motogp0910)

Hi Monumental, sorry if I come off as disrespectful:(I know you guys are working hard and take a lot of pride in your work.I just happen to disagree about tuckin as an action where you press a button.IMO you could achive a just as good/better result by having riderposition on the left stick fully manual. When the rider tucks in leaning forward he puts more weight on the front to keep the rearwheel down, and by doing this the rearend becomes lighter,so when you come into the corner you have to reposition him in order to balance the weight(put more weight to the back)in order to prevent the rearwheel from sliding out. Also I think it whould be more fun, because it whould be more fluent.Like I have said in my exp.you dont want to be thinking about pressing a tuck-in button, while you operate the gears?Anyway I wish you guys the best of luck, and dont worrie about me!!!Getting close to the big 40,and maybe I dont need another good bikegame?Maybe I should just go back on TT Superbikes, and just be happy all by myself?
