View Full Version : Ps3 video service to launch this summer?
The LA Times seems to think so.
PS3 video service will have full films and tv programmes on offer.
Also for the UK a BBCi player similar to the one recently released on the Wii.
Intrsting as I find more info I will keep you posted.
Sounds interesting to me. Although I wonder what this will do to the change from dvds to blu-ray/HDdvd? Also now all Sony need to do is get together with apple and get the PS3 to function as an actual computer.

I think Sony should prioritise more on game releases for the PS3 rather than its multimedia aspect. On that note they should stop with the technically inferior ports too. Orange Box, Lost Planet and F.E.A.R srping to mind.
Bad ports isnt Sonys fault though. Its the game developers, as its not Sonys fault if developers dont put the effort in. The multimedia aspect is the main area for console focus now though.

Fair enough but its not like Sony should just stand to one side and continously allow developers to produce lazy ports for the console.
