how do i put LAO-SHAN on hes ass.
i hit him all the way to the gate with KILLERS SCYTHE but he just run off :mad:

Use Anvil Hammer and attack the belly for a easy kill.
use a fire or dragon attribute weapon preferably a long sword and just stay on the head thats easy and not dangerous except watch the tail cause when you run back it can hit you and we wouldnt want that (lao tail+you= serious hurt):)

Considering Laos head is not his weak point that strategy isnt to good. Use longswords on his feet or belly for better results just dont get too greedy on the attacks. I still say hammers work much better on Lao.

U always say hammers are the best. Even in MH1. Just get it! there are many other weapons which are more powerful than hammers :dead:

U dont need to kill him yet anyway, so let him run off. Get a better weapon with fire or dragon element and do him later again.

Im to stoopid to get it Red. And Hammers have the highest DPS on most monsters on MHF 2.:p

Its a upgrade of Iron hammer just follow the path to Iron Impact then Iron Striker Anvil comes after that I think.
The last time i saw you fight lao it was with dual swords ry but thats just not possible is it ?

Smash its face in with a Dragon element weapon and just hope you get in rewards, youll see when its face is broken.
Im a noo at this but im after the easyest way to kill a Rathalos ive killed a Rathian with Velociprey claws and full velociprey so,
I need help should i use my Basarios armor and Wyvern bladefall or to make it easyer tell me a duel blade wepon you surpose
is easy for me to get;)
use flash bombs and traps .
rathalos is weak to ice water and dragon any weapon with these elements is good for rathalos

I am after a few items that I havent seen yet but I know I must be able to get them as I am HR6, I am after the following: Rathian Palate, Fire Dragon Scale Plus and a Rathalos Ruby. I have killed hundreds of Rathian and Rathalos and I never seem to be able to carve any of these items off.

Rathian Plate is gotten from any rank Rathian tho a higher rank gives a better chance.
Rathalos Rubies are from G Rank Rathalos.
(Does not matter about the colour for plates or rubies tho metallic ones give the most rubies)
Fire Dragon scale + is from G Rank Teostra.

Rathian Plate :
Normal Rathian -> 5%
Higher Rank Rathian -> 8%
Gold Rathian -> 12%
Rathalos Rubies are from Silver Rathalos, best way to get em - cut tail and capture it.
Fire Dragon Scale + is otainable on 8* Teo.
Note to Ryuu: G rank.... is only in Portable 2nd G. The quests u say G to, r just Higher Ranks. 1-5* = Low Rank, 6-8* = Higher Rank ( G1*-G3 = G rank , yellow lady, appearing in 2nd G )

HR5 Kirin..... get Akamu Bow and own Kirin with that. Or any other decent bow. Akamu Bow is the best weapon in Freedom 2. ( My oppinion )

I found the best way to get Rathian plates is to do the Village Rathalos and Rathian quest. Worked a treat for me.

For Nismo: Why dont u try using hammer against Kirin? I found that its rather easy to beat with a hammer. Onslaught Hammer should be enough for HR5
Well, sadly you can get Akamu (Akantor) Bows materials from an Akantor, which you can only fight in HR6...
