View Full Version : Who else wants a "real" Viewtiful Joe 3 ?

It s been 3 years now since VJ2 was released, Clover is gone, and VJ didn t sell very good either.
Still I think either Capcom or Platinum Games (which is basically Clover) should finish the Viewtiful Joe story.
I mean, they can t simply claim that ther would be a third part at the end of the first game, and at the end of the second game, and then simply stop.
Or was that supposed to be funny?
I quite liked Viewtiful Joe (even bought the soundtrack at playasia), so I d want to see a real Viewtiful Joe 3 (red hot rumble and double trouble didn t finish the story, did they?). At least they could go and publish it as wii ware or something, that would be perfectly possible, right?.

Theres probably no plans to extend the franchise at the moment, unfortunately. After all, there are four games in the series and thats much more than the three intially promised at the end of the first game. Still, we can only hope. I dont think Platinum Games will continue working on currently existing IPs, and Capcom doesnt see any financial viability to continue the series either.

Wow, finally someone replied...
I didn t think there were that few people who like Viewtiful Joe.
It really wouldn t be very bright to continue it then.
But: 4 is just 1 more than 3. That s not much more than initally promised, is it?
hm.. didnt notice this thread.. Id be done writing to it.
anyway, a 3rd VJ would be a great idea and would be made for PS3 and 360..
but Ive only played VJ2 so far. what ruined the game is the main 2 characters.. I only want to play as Veiwtiful Joe. who the hell came up with the idea to make the players suffer to play as some girl that no one even cares about. if they make a 3rd game.. make VJ be ALONE the whole game.

If you want to play only as Joe why didn t you buy the first one?
The one for DS is also mostly with Joe only (except for one episode, I think).
By the way you don t have to play with Silvia. At least not much.
What annoyed me a lot more was that there were no extra playable characters (like Alastor).
I still wonder why there are so few people liking VJ though.

Viewtiful Joe 3 should be made.... on Wii ! I played the 1st one, it was so funny ... didnt get 2nd part, but ill get it cheap soon. It was always on Nintendo, so it should stay on it. And they can build in some cool new featured cause of the Wii Mote.

@SILENTKILLER:
That s why I thought it would be possible to turn VJ3 in wiiware. That would make it cheaper to publish and give it the possibility of awesome controls.
@HumanIce:
ebay?
I just looked it up in the German ebay and it was only about 10?.

Huh? Well, sorry.
Dare I ask why you don t ask your parents? No I don t think I will do that...

I buy everything myself. Im not like other kids getting everything from their parents. I help myself in life.

That s not what I meant. I meant having your parents order something and then give them the money for it.
If you feel better you can even give them more than they paid. Then it s like buying it from them.
Then there s not much difference to buying it from a shopkeeper.
I apologize for calling you an idiot there and all that.
I was rather mad because my bros friends were messing with me.

No problem, I don t take things that seriously you know.
EDIT:
By the way, I just annoyed Platinum Games by sending them an email about Viewtiful Joe.
Maybe it s of some use, even if I don t think it is...
I dont think youll get very far by mailing Platinum Games about it, seeing as its still a Capcom license, and Platinum Games uses Sega to publish.
