I'm running on
Amd 64 x2 5600
Radeon Hd 4850,
3 gb ram, Xp Sp3.

Both, demo and game crash instantly after start, saying there's a problem with re5dx9.exe. All drivers are latest. So far I've seen many people posting similar problems and all have similar specs (amd, ati, and xp). Must be a serious conflict with the game. Please help, I'd really like to play the game I just bought.

Done that, thanks a lot. But since I'm certainly not the only one, maybe you should do a sticky handling all the possible problems of the pc version of this otherwise great game.

A sticky may be made once the game is officialy out which is the 18th sept.

Yeah, you're right. But on the 18th, all the copies will be long gone where I buy my games, lol. I bought Dark Athena 2 days before release and tried to register. They banned my key and now I can't play multiplayer at all. That's what I call bad luck for eager customers.:blink:
