NG: Hunter Conversion from 'Freedom' to 'Unite'

Greetings from Tasmania!

I installed my 'United' into my (new) PSP 3002 [NO hacks], Version 6.00; but the loading of my 'Freedom' Hunter, it 'sees' NO 'Freedom' files; so cannot load my character from MHF2 to MHU! __HELP!__

ALSO, in 'Freedom' after the Hunter is loaded, s/he does not show up (at all) in the different poses, before 'x' to goto the game... __HELP!__ Again!

I'm not 100% sure, but I suppose it might have something to do with the regions of your games.

For example, a US copy of Unite wouldn't recognise a Japanese MHF(/2) file.

At least that's how I think it works.
