Okay. Whats a good car to start with? I bought the Honda Integra to start with but cant get gold on two remaining events on C Class.
I bought a Mazda Sprint and that closed two of the events I needed golds in. What would you recommend that can also possibly open up new events too?
Also, anybody going to be online today to play?
I am online with it now. I started with the Ford Focus ST. And managed gold in pretty much all of the events.
I was thinking that it would be a wise choice at this moment.

Ouch! cant see the racing benefits of a mini. I hated the cappicino exclusive race too!
And being a step behind means online sucks atm just cant race against ridculosly good cars.
I dont like the online set up ATM.

GT2 for the PS1 was the sh** back in the day. (but my bro and me usually played Colin McRae Rally as our main driving game on the PS1 *F-Zero X on N64 AS THE MAIN*)
but I got really bored of the series after GT3, I got it free with my PS2 when I bought it at 2001, it was really boring and I feel good they took the game too when they stole my PS2. also I love these thiefs.. I wouldnt be able to play RE Outbreak and MGO online if Id still have the old fat PS2.
anyway, I really dont buy these kind of driving games anymore because they just suck. Id rather stick with Mario Kart and F-Zero and its crazy designed beyond-reality stages which makes no sense with lava and lighting..
EDIT: oh, and graphics dont make a good game. specially when its like GT5. its really friggin realistic, but it doesnt look fun at all.

I knew youd come in here and post your past experiences with GT and the reasons why you dont have the new one.

I dont like the online set up either. I especially dont like how dirty people play.
Give me Forza, F1, GT and Tocca any day.
Yes the online is dirty if they want to play like that they should play arcade racers and not sim type games.

Yeah but the point is nobody cares. Just stay out of my topics, please. I dont want to have to sift through your pointless comments all the time. The fact you had nothing positive to contribute to GT5 and this topic is reason enough for me to pick up on your comments.
How about every post you make I just say yeah that sucks. Honest to GOD if you arent interested in the game then leave the topic alone.

So how do I unlock different events then and advance to B class etc. or are they just not available yet?
Oh and Joe, that Focus sucks. I still cant do that last but one event...the track with those brutal lil bends.
come 1st 2nd or 3rd in every C class event and then B class is unlocked
Same again foe A class by finishing B class.
Do all A class the same and then S class is unlocked.
I liked the FocusST. Anyways, you unlock the extra classes by getting at least a bronze in all the races for that class. Ah that course. I hate it. Just takes time. I did in the end manage it in the Focus though.
