Some of may have heard of London games expo which is basically a nice little anime/film/game show in London with loads of cosplay. The dates of the Event are:
Saturday 24th October (11am - 6pm)
Sunday 25th October (11am - 5pm)

The following Capcom games will be seen at the event:
Monster Hunter Tri
Tatsunoko vs Capcom: Ultimate All Stars

They will also have their own special area for the Monster Hunter: Freedom Unite owners so they can connect up.

Also there will be a game called Bayonetta which was made by the same people who did Devil May Cry and Resident Evil but will be under Sega's name.

More info can be found on their website
http://www.londonexpo.com/ (http://www.londonexpo.com/show_information/tickets.html)

Information on the game layout:
We are of course having our now regular Monster Hunter Freedom Unite seating area(you'll recognise the beanbags). We'll also have a four-player LAN set up for Monster Hunter Tri (preloaded weapons and three different monsters to kill). Monster Hunter Tri will be on Classic Controller Pros.

Two Tatsunoko set ups, one with sticks one with classic controllers. Frank and Tekkaman Blade have been confirmed to be playable at the event however Zero and Joe aren't able to make it.

Bring PSPs for MH:FU

May have a drink if people are interested on the Saturday (18+ only).

I was hoping to go but I doubt I'll be able to get time off to come down and participate in the festivities. Bayonetta would be the number 1 reason where gaming is concerned.

That's too bad you won't be able to make it.

I don't think I can get by playing Bayonetta as awesome as it looks as they may ask for ID and I think it is rated 16 (annoying thing is that I'm a couple of years too young).

I'm looking forward to Tatsunoko vs Capcom most though.

Not sure if I'll be going but is TvC gonna be a stick setup, Wiimote or pads? If it's not stick, then I won't bother with it.

I'm not sure what it is going to be. You could do the very risky thing and bring your own stick but I don't recommend. I would assume they would have both but probably more likely to be pads as this is the country of UK.

EDIT: I heard that in most events like this, they will be using sticks.

Actually, all places where I saw TvC's english mode (Japan Expo, Gamescon) only the mini-tournaments were played with a stick, while casual play was limited to the Wii motion controller.

I'll be at the Expo as usual.
Those willing to meet up (Charmed, JDK, etc..) I'd love to ACTUALLY see you guys this time around, so let's exchange Phone numbers or something through PM. ;)

Hello!

I have been very bad and not on the forums much recently, sorry. I should clarify what is going on at this expo for us, I guess, since I'm running tings.

First of all, I don't think you can really compare the London Expo to E3 or TGS. Scale alone is the main difference, since the London Expo is tiny in comparison, but I think it's fair to say that the London Expo is also much nicer, has a better community spirit and also covers anime and manga stuffs. And film and sci fi TV and, well, everything. It's more like a smaller Comicon from the states. And it's awesome and not very expensive so everyone should come.

We are of course having our now regular Monster Hunter Freedom Unite seating area(you'll recognise the beanbags). We'll also have a four-player LAN set up for Monster Hunter Tri (preloaded weapons and three different monsters to kill) and two Tatsunoko set ups, one with sticks one with classic controllers.

I'll be on hand to personally BEAT DOWN anyone who needs a Tatsunoko lesson or two, of course, but I will mostly be playing Monster Hunter and 'chilling with my homeys'.

If this is like the last few shows then you'll find our very own Raine Ruzaki on the Manga stall looking fine. She's a traitor, obviously, but that can't be helped ;)

Monster Hunter Tri will be on Classic Controller Pros, because we've played way too much Freedom Unite to get used to new controls.

T-shirts! I believe we have a new plan for those, but Tenebra is on it like Rayokarna on a bowgun, so I'll leave that for her to shout about.

Bring your PSPs! That's the main thing.

Do we need a drinking plan for the Saturday evening for the over 18s? There's two options - one upstairs, one downstairs. I can't remember their names, though.

Just curious, what characters are going to be in Tatsunoko vs Capcom at the Expo? Hope we get to try Frank out.

Please wear a nametag if you do Raine, 'cause I've missed you the past few expo's as well, even though I know you're somewhere at the manga stands, which should be a lot easier to find then Charmed who's running around. XD

I deny everything about that.

Spending three days living on nothing but Alcohol left me even paler then I usually am in that vid.

Not to mention I have an incredibly annoying voice. :D

Hey, this post was WAY before you were dating! And anyway, it's hardly like I'm hitting on her :) She was working on Manga and hanging out with the Capcom boyz before you even knew her!

Oh yes, and sorry - no Zero. The two recently announced characters are not yet ready for general consumption. Soon, though!

E

Lol! Zero was there! Anyway, managed to kick one of the capcom staff's butt there in Tatsunoko vs Capcom. If you want, I can send it to you.
