Thats right folks! Mitsurugi Reiji, better know to us Westerners as Miles Edgeworth will be getting his very own game. Check here (http://kotaku.com/377663/phoenix-wright-spin+off-features-walking) for some scans and information. Sure am looking forward to this.

Eagerly looking forward to this one - though I am a bit concerned about the lack of court segments. The court segments were certainly the most action-packed / tense moments of the game that had me coming back to the series for more.

Mind you, any game with Edgeworth as a protagonist is worth playing! =P

Edgeworth and Detective Gumshoe... In their own game.

...I get it. Ive fallen into an alternate reality where dreams come true.

As for court segments, Im *sure* they have to be in there (we just havent seen pictures yet), and the walking segments is just a new way to handle the investigations. It just wouldnt be Ace Attorney if you never got the chance to present evidence and expose the real criminals for the big, fat liars they are.

I have half a mind to think this will likely be called Miles Edgeworth: Ace Attorney outside of Japan. =P Actually, I quite like the sound of that.

The style of the walking sprites looks a bit similiar to The world Ends with you, though it seems to be taking place on the upper screen...

I wonder how this is gonna play out, considering youre going to have to be the attacking side in this game....

Im really looking forward to this. It really looks like those good old PC pointn click games, but is it really? In all the screeshots Edgeworth and Gumshoe are on the top screen, which would mean that you dont control Edgey with the touchscreen like in a pointn click game you would. Hmmm.

I hope that when the game is finally completed, the European release would be simultaneous with the US release. Since like all the Gyakuten games, Kenji is most likely going to be very storybased -- and if the US gets it months before Europeans, I know Im gonne be spoiled. And badly.

Im calling a delayed European release.

Two new trailers - of which reveal a bit of gameplay. Enjoy.

Yeah, thats most likely the case -- just like with almost everything else in Europe. But one can always hope, right? :)

Oh, and thanks for the link. I think the trailers were also released on the official Gyakuten Kenji site some time ago, but at least these can be downloaded :) Too bad that those clips wont answer the pointn click... thingy.

Its very quickly looking like a complete lack of courtroom segments in the game. Not complaining, but lets just hope itll be as interesting =P

Yeah, I think some of the fan translated Japanese gaming magazine articles confirmed as much. But if the story and the gameplay is still good, I might be able to overlook this small drawback.
