Is Trent from the books in the actual games, I cant remeber if he is and do other people like those books?

No, he isnt.

Trent is one of the main reasons why the books are classed as non-canon. But yeah, they are good books and i wish shed do more of the series.

Hopefully RE4 and RE5 will be written. I have the rest except Zero Hour and City of The Dead.

I think she should write more seperate stories now. Like Underworld and Caliban Cove...they were some of the better books as they were all brand new.

Or perhaps she could do the novelisation of Degeneration??

That would be good, is the film meant to be full length?

*shrugs*

I have no idea how long the film is supposed to be...but ill be happy with anything over 1 hour. Thats enough time to tell a decent Resi storyline, and then good enough to turn into a book with elongated sections :P

I wrote this ina similar topic on Gamefaq.com

I actually liked Caliban Cove the most.

It had no connection to the games more then feat. Becca(and some of the others in cameos) in all new storyline with British STARS and seemed to feat smart Zombies well smarter then average ones.

Maybe they where the insperations to the Ganados somewhat? Well a sea creature in that novel almost reminded me of Lagos but most likley diffrent creature all together but it reminded me of Lagos scene.

I wish Perry had done some more novels aswell and I too especially liked her own titles like Caliban Cove wich felt really good despise not being part of the game series.

I would be interested in seeing her universe going in a seperate direction from that of the games. Perhaps following Trent and the rogue group of survivors taking down Umbrella, etc.

We will probably get more books at some point though, as Perry never finished off the actual storyline that she was writing...

Werent the others written in 1999?

Umbrella Conspiracy and Caliban Cove were 1998, Underworld and City of the Dead were 1999, Nemesis was 2000, Code Veronica was 2001, and Zero Hour was 2004.

So there is still always a chance of the others being made into books.

I havent got Zero Hour or City of the Dead yet, are they good?

I consider City Of The Dead to be the best game novelisation...its the longest and actually goes into more detail than any other book.

Zero Hour is good, but very short.
