Hi! I have a problem with DMC4 when i start the game i see a black screen and nothing
Pentium D 3.0GhZ
Nvidia 8600GT 512mb
Montor 22" 1680x1050:confused:
4Gb Ram
WinVista Ultimate Sp2 32-bit
problem with the 8600gt too many overclocked? i had the same problem with the ntune software on my 6600gt

maybe a helpful hint: do please go back to XP SP3, that will solve a lot of problems.
maybe alsow a hint, try to run the free benchmark version of resident evil 5 street fighter 4 and even the trial demo playable demo of devil may cry 4 and see what happens than... .
these games are all based on capcom mt framework system so than you can check if it happens with all your games, capcom games or especially this devil may cry 4 game full version.
update your directx driver
change your nvidia driver to an older or newer model with other one that works
defragment your drive.
run single program per single program.
clean your hard drive.
try to install a minus as possible games and programs under vista because it is **** if you do that with programs that "doesnt work anymore" like vista says himself all the time via messages.
the start up programs only those must be: windows your firewall your antivirus, your antispyware and thats all; so with other words to get the minust problems with vista no msn no netlog no limewire just these three start up programs... . minus **** with other words... .
firewall windows dos antivirus and thats all.
run checkdisk
run a registry fix program (but the problem is I as an expert in pcs didnt find anywhere on the web a registry fix program that works with vista... .)
and something else: run devil may cry with the 360 controller.
Press ALT+ENTER to pass in windowed mode, then set your correct resolution and refresh rate. Probably to select 1680x1050 you have to set the refresh rate to 59Hz, your refresh rate will always be 60Hz but the game want that option set on 59Hz to work.

all tested runed with tune up and advanced windows care to solve problems updated directx and nvidia drivers C:\Users\Administrator\AppData\Local\CAPCOM\DEVILM AYCRY4 confng.ini to 59hz and nothig i i tryrd in 800x600 nothing:shocked: and what is dark side vista??
