Does anybody here have any tattoos? Ive just gotten my second and third tats done, here are some pictures:

This was my first tattoo. The pentagram is my protection, so if i ever forget my pendant or my wallet or anything like that, i always have one pentagram on me. This is on my left arm, near the shoulder.

I have many more planned myself :P
With any luck, Ill be getting 2 more done within the next month. Theyll be on my stomach.
Ill be posting pictures of those when i get them as well...but probably not taken by a family member, as theyll go ballistic when they start finding out how much these things cost me :D:D
they look cool..
having a tattoo on the leg is maybe the ugliest place to put it IMO, I was maybe thinking of getting a tattoo of a burning skull, or a text which says RPGs suck

Agreed about the leg thing. Thats why i never plan on getting any below the waist. All of my designs are planned from the waist up.
Nice, I dont have the guts to get a tattoo, if I did, ill probably have a large one on my back.

I wonder if getting a tattoo of the pentagram the only way to find your lost things?

It has actually helped me out a hell of a lot since i got it.
Obviously it may be a kind of placebo thing...im not gunna force beliefs upon anybody. But yeah...it has helped me a lot.
Wouldnt a pentagram come under superstitions rather then beliefs? Anyway, I havent got any yet since you need to be 18 here but Ive got a few designs picked out for when i can get them.

After getting my tattoo ive actually been more confident, ive made some excellent friends...and although i have not strictly avoided being attacked, ive certainly been attacked less than normal, and when i am attacked i always have friends nearby to protect me.
Along with this, my education went alarmingly well upon gaining the tattoo (whilst beforehand i failed my first time at College miserably), and various other good things have happened.
On top of that, tattoos can be an excellent conversation starter if you are out for the night, with no company.

Just remember that it's for life mate unless you go through the horrors of laser surgery to get it removed. It's not something that I would ever do but I see some incredibly complex tattoos all the time out in London. I know this boy that has all the chaos emeralds spread through his upper body! :p
Yeah my ex had a skin graft to cover a tattoo up so i totally understand, still thats such a cool tattoo, and its something that could be anything, just a random symbol to those not in the know. Still i bet a tat on the inside wrist right over the tendons hurst like hell. I think i might wait to see whether bioshock 2 dissapoints or not before i decide whether im brave enough or not.

Actually JDK, it doesn't hurt on the inside part of the wrist. That's where my only tattoo is. If I were to describe the feeling, it would be as if you were being scratched by a cat for about 5 to 10 minutes (mine is fairly small mind you).

Completely agreed.
Most tats only feel like a pro-longed cat scratch. It only hurts where there is a lot of flesh.
The 2 on my stomach were unbearably painful. I actually scared off customers with the amount of swearing I was doing :D
Just noticed that the pics have been lost, so I'll try and upload some new ones.
I'd advise against gaming tattoos, however cool they might appear at the time.
I'll see if I can find pic of my one and only tattoo :)

As promised, here's my picture. Note that it's supposed to be read the other way around (this was the easiest way to take a pic from my cam, lol). No, the tat isn't wonky; my arm is at an angle. :P

A few year back in college I was talking about it with some friends and apparently it really hurts on the foot? It's to do with how there's almost no muscle and a lot of tendons?
I still wouldn't want to do one like ever though anywhere but I problably compesate with lots of clothing shopping...in fact think it's time to celebrate now exams are over. :p
Is your tattoo about your admiration for Solid Snake Alex?

While I'm a big fan of Solid Snake, it's actually because the snake is my birth year animal, along with my star sign being Scorpio (that would be my next tattoo). ;P
