Street fighter 4 is by far one of the greatest games in the world.

What do you think?

As a game in its own right, SF 4 is great! It is Fun, engaging and deep. However as a Reboot of a classic and beloved series, it is an absolute triumph. It has depth enough to keep the hardcore pleased, but is accessible enough for new comers to jump right in. Its an incredible balance and it's to Capcoms credit that they have pulled it off so deftly. what elevates the game form a good one to an amazing one, though, is the little touches. the little nods to SF 2 here and there, the remakes of classic backgrounds like the back alley and the little incidental details (like if you jump under the wing of the plane on the airfield level while playing as vega, his claw will slice it off).

A true masterpiece.

Street Fighter 4 is the best fighting game for ten years. Not convinced it is balanced as well as some think, but hope spring eternal for dash should it ever appear.

It doesn't need to be perfect though, some want that but it doesn't exist. bit closer though.

I like it, but I wish it didn't have the graphics it has. Loook at BlazBlue and KOF, they have 2-D sprites and are still good games so why not SF4?:D

Gameplay is class as usual. Can't complain.

But the most important thing is, you enjoy it.

because its different! between KoF, Guilty gear, blazblue, battle fantasia, and even street fighter alpha there are hundereds of anime style 2d fighters around. it's refreshing that a giant like capcom can take it's most famous franchise and infuse it with such artistic flair and visual humour. I personaly love the hints of japanese brush work in the animations. okami's legacy lives on!!!!!!!!!!

The Ultra-moves are spectacular but are the only false note in the gameplay, becouse when it comes there is a time stop! And the player who make it become temporarily untouchable! The game lose is perfect precision for a while, maybe to give a better chance to overturn the battle. A little price to pay for more Pathos.:p Metsu! Haadoooken! What you think about this?

Sorry for my english!

I actually think it is nearly impossiable to get hit by a super or ultra (Except the throw based ones that you cant block normally). as soon as the screen goes dark you simply hold block and you're fine. I've stopped using em against other players now. EX moves are far more useful.

combo into the ultra, thats why you not hitting them say you playing as Ryu if you jump in with a hard punch then quickly use the ultra they cant block.

Thats the simplest form of combo in ultra there are loads of ways to do it such as rogs headbutt into ultra (hold kick when the ultra starts) this is the key to using the ultra effectively.

If your having trouble try www.shoryuken.com (dont post in the forum just read em there a tad snobby)
or www.eventhubs.com (post away were all friendly) :)

On no! I can hit with them fine against most of the people i play against, especially Ken's, Akuma's (you can do that one in the middle of your opponents combo, that way they cant jump over it!) and chun li's (which is great for luring a grappler towards you as you back away then piling in with it). I just find it realy easy to block them! i'm quite a defensive player naturally anyway so i dont often get caught in the middle of a long combo.
