You lost your picture? Would you mind explaining what kind of picture you are referring to?

Yep that would help.

Been trying to think what you mean.

If its just transferring a picture the all you need to do is either put the PSP memory card into the PS3 memory card reader or connect the PSP to PS3 via USB.

To register the PSP to PS3 use USB and go to register PSP on the XMB under settings above the network options.

If thats what you mean.

Well basically since buying an HDTV and switching to a HDMI cable my PS3 (dont know if this is the same with other peoples) will not show a picture if I try and run it via the standard supplied SCART cable. So as I was meant to be taking it to a friends (who does not have a HDTV) I wanted to set the display back to the standard SCART settings. Being the rookie I am though I didnt realise that there was 2 different types of SCART connection (yeah, yeah laugh away). So when presented with the the option between the two I chose Pr/Pb/Py instead of RGB (which I am now guessing I need the RGB). Since doing this I have been unable to get a picture from using either my SCART or HDMI cable. Now I am guessing I need a Pr/Pb/Py cable (which will probably cost me an arm) just so I can get a picture to change the settings back. However my smart idea to use remote play to change the settings back was an epic failure as after a couple of tries and finally getting remote play to work, it does not allow you to access the PS3 settings (which I think is a epic faux par on Sonys side as I am guessing its for security...but to remote play with the PS3 you will of needed to of been in my house...). So now I cant see what I am doing and must wait and buy a cable.
Well unless I cant use my friends PS3 and do the same thing on his as to mine. So I would be able to see but on his.

Here is hoping.
OR if anyone knows of an easy and quick way to restore factory settings let me know. And no holding down the power button does not work.

Success!!!

MY stupid has dropped to an all time low. However my level of happiness is at an all time high.
Turns out that I was messing myself up by trying to run the PS3 with both the SCART and the HDMI cable at the same time. And for some reason the PS3 does not like this. So whilst frustrated and trying everything i took out the SCART and the picture returned to me like some heavenly light. It was beautiful. Were I not such a burley man I might of cried.

The morale of this story...
- The standard PS3 SCART is RGB
- The PS3 wont/cant function with more than one output source attached to it.

I love you all...truely x

Chears, even though this time you did it without my help.
I had the a similar problem when i went HD.

The 360 is so much easier to set up for HD.

It was not the setting up of 1080 output but the undoing of it lol.
