Coming to XBLA and PSN, Bionic Commando Rearmed is a reworking of the original classic 2D platformer from the days of the NES. How can you have a platform game when your main character cant jump? Easy- you give him a bionic grappling hook for an arm!
Now that Microsoft have allowed Capcom to exceed the size limit of the game for XBLA I am stuck to which version to get.:?: :?: :s
When I saw the trailer from Bionic Commando Rearmed i felt very surprised, i liked a lot the NES version of the game :D
I dont know which version of the game Ill choose. Probably would be the XBLA version, because i like a lot the X360 controller.
The fail from this version is that X360 must be connected to Internet to play the game, even if im not playing online :( I dont know if PSN version will have the same problem.

..And when its realized that very few people care about this game and it doesnt get recognised as well as youd hoped this forum is just going to disappear too right? Like Viewitful Joe...Killer7...and all the other beloved Capcom titles that will probably never see another sequel.
Its so shameful riding on the RE and DMC cashcow all the time. Just as bad as Nintendo with Mario and Zelda!

You can play the games on XBLA offline if you are using the 360 you initially downloaded it on.
It only becomes a problem and have to sign in when the 360 has been replaced and you have to re-download it which sucks realy.

If I understand his argument correctly, how naive and idealistic.
All these companies are in this business to make money. If they stumble upon a successful franchise, they can hardly be criticised for running with it. Conversely, if a franchise doesnt take off in an economically viable way, why flog a dead horse? Capcom have a larger portfolio of regulars than a lot of other companies. And whats wrong with having a forum for up-coming titles? So what if it dissapears if the game bombs - whos going to care? The game bombed...
I personally am really looking for to both versions of Bionic Command, and would like to see more retro-classics brought to the next gen (both hardware and players), as long as they havent been done to death and back already (pacman, defender, space invaders - Im looking at you). Reviving old classics is also lower risk in terms of business as the title will have a proven market value, and some portion of the code may also be reusable.

Bionic Commando Rearmed will be released with all texts translated into spanish. If you can, test the NES version and then decide yourself if this game is for you or not.
I like a lot his new features (more weapons, different enemies, cooperative game...)

Bionic Commando Rearmed saldr con todos los textos traducidos al espaol. Si puedes, prueba la versin de NES y decide entonces si te merece la pena o no.
A mi me gustan mucho sus novedades (ms armas, diferentes enemigos, juego cooperativo...)

Ok .Es de esperar que capcom saque una demo antes de su lanzamiento.En ese caso la probaria y si me resulta etretenida pues alomejor me le compro.Esque gastarme unos 63 por un juego que no me llama mucho la atencion...aunque alomejo sale al precio del lost planet y no estaria mal que fuera asi.
Por otro lado creo que en america el precio de este juego lo han puesto los americanos o algo asi ,baratillo no?

Bionic Commando Rearmed es una adaptacin directa del clasico de NES, con jugabilidad en 2D que quizs cueste 800 o 1000 Puntos en el bazar de XBOX Live Arcade (unos 10 o 12? al cambio). Parece que el precio de este juego en America, tal como dices, lo ha elegido la gente.

Luego est Bionic Commando, que es un juego nuevo, completamente en 3D. No se cuanto costar (ms que Bionic Commando Rearmed seguro), probablemente saquen antes una demo.

I think we are referring to distinct games.
Bionic Commando Rearmed is a remake from the NES game, it have 2D gameplay and maybe cost 800 or 1000 Points in XBLA (10 or 12?). Looks like people in America has chosen his price.

Bionic Commando is a new game, completely in 3D. I dont know how much it cost (Im sure that it will cost more than Bionic Commando Rearmed), Capcom probably will release a demo.

It will definitely cost more than Rearmed. As for my original topic, where did it go? It had screenshots, release dates and everything =( (well tentative release dates =3)

I think it is going to be awsome! Grappling hooks and big areas with lots of freedom, its like made for me.
