im playing RE 2 once again (how often will i take this burden...?) and for the millionth time i wonder how to get the key for the darkroom cupboard? every site i read says head to the RPD without harming any zombie and picking up anything, in the tunnel there is brad one has to kill for the key. i walked my ass off a thousand times without scratching a single bastard, but im still successless... can anyone help me out?
hello bitch lol!! ok i did this bit it took me a while . right ill start from the begining ok.ok play as claire or leon whitch you already know when you start after the truck crashs and your separated from either character . shoot the zombies but just knock them back dont waste your ammo run around them. the trick is to not collect any ammo until you get to the police station and when you see brad dont attack straight away go inside and collect some ammo first because brad is a super zombie its take alot more bullets to put down this deceased s.t.a.r.s member and once youve put him down collect the special and get you secret costume.

thx, by my surprise it finally worked ! but i just dont get it, i never took anything and this time i accidently kiled a zombie with the knife, but it didnt take an actual effect on it... strange... and, well, im called bitch for many years now, which doesnt mean that i am one. at least i am male! (i hope so...):lol: :d
but now i have a rough time with mr.x... im with leon at the train and wounded, theres nowhere a herb or spray neither i have one. ive got the flamethrower, the upgraded magnum with 9 shot and my handgun (which makes him smile...). it just takes him 3 clean hit to bust my ass... damn, i am so angry! how do i manage to finish him off? apparently im not able to dodge every attack...
oh! and theres a spoiler!
in RE 2 you see brad as a zombie, but in RE3 he is healthy and unharmed... man,its a crazy world,aye?! b)
and theres one more thing: i really like to play hunk and tofu, ada as well... how do i get the best rankin without all the odds? i mean just one save, use only herbs, take no special weapon... this makes hard even harder....and then additionally under 2 and a half hours... thats insane... i know all of the games like the back of my hand, but i never get closer as 3 hours..WITH special weapons and spray. and there was smth. on the net i doubt... it said, one has to play 8 times RE2 (4x each) to unlock smth.... AND the most funniest thing: to get leon invinceble one must stay at the boss birkin after his defeat until countdown runs out. then you get thrown into some mysterious garden from a house,a special level, where you are invinceble... who rumours that????

Resident Evil 2 Unlockables .....
Infinite Rocket Launcher -> Beat scenario 1 on normal difficulty in less than 2:30 with an A or B ranking
Machine Gun -> Beat scenario 2 on normal difficulty in less than 3 hours with an A or B ranking
Gatling Gun -> Beat the second scenario on Normal difficulty in less than 2:30 and get an A or B ranking.
Hunk Scenario -> Complete scenario 1 and scenario 2 and get an A ranking on one of them, then save your game.
Tofu Scenario -> Complete six scenarios and get an A ranking on one of them, then save your game.
Your wrong bout the ranks ... its like this :
S Rank -> Beat the game in 1:30. Use only One herb. dont use any weapon upgrades, no special weapons (like the R. Launcer) and dont pick a weapon up more than one time, like if you pick up the shot gun from the weapon owner, dont go and get it on the police station.
A Rank -> Beat the game under 3:00 and dont use any first aid, no special weapons.
B Rank -> Just beat the game under 3:00
C Rank -> Finish the game in 5 to 7 hours
D Rank -> Beat the game over 7 hours
The best way to beat it in under 2 hours is knowledge. If you know where everything is u need then its an easy task. Its not even hard so dont waste your time saving every 20mins, dont get the documents, dont kill zombies which mustnt be killed ( when they arent in ur way etc ).
theres one hidden key in this game that I never managed to find until last year o_o that is the last thing I managed to unlock/find in RE2 in my entire life.
its that door to get the Magnum parts inside some umbrella room. that key is somewhere at the train where Leon and Ada are shooting the arm that keeps breaking in. hm.. also weird kinda how Capcom made it look like a guy with a hat was sitting somewhere in the background when the train is coming to the finish line at that place...... whatever.

The last ever thing you figured out how to do was light the flaregun and find the key? I always thought that was one of the easiest parts in the entire game...

lol, yes, i remember that. i yesterday found it again, too. long ago i already found it, but forgot... but i must say that the magnum is much slower as before, if you use the parts. and mujch stronger isnt it, too..

Its only slower because of the recoil (obviously, with it being a little bit more powerful), but the damage you can do to Birkin or Mr X is incredible...or just a single line of zombies *eyes glaze at the thought of all of those heads popping*
sure (but i wouldnt use it for zombies, what a waste...), but in final fight against mr.x it is useless, because he keeps on pounding you. and i am wounded, he just needs 4 hits to kill me off... sux
Actually, yes, William Birkin in his final form on the A scenarios is very fast. Difficult to kill, especially when he jumping up and down, on Normal difficulty all he has to do is pick you up in his mouth and you die, but on Easy difficulty you might be lucky enough to escape his mouth on Danger and heal yourself.
Even with the auto-aim he is difficult to hit and with the recoil, it takes longer to recover and shoot again.
This goes for the upgraded Magnum and the Upgraded Shotgun, the recoil on both is powerful.

I saved it and its upgrade kit to the last fight, it was the only gun I needed, and even after killing the last boss, I had a fair lot of ammo.

this might be, but birkin is not my problem. i mustnt fight him, but the T-00, the first nemesis in scenario B.... and he extremely sux

When fighting Birkin, it is best to move into one of the corners near the elevator door. He cant jump around so much, so tends to stalk towards you. Makes for an easy kill.
With the Mr X battle (T-103) it is best to run around, rather than fight, as you will eventually be given something to stop him dead (quite literally).
who assists me to kill him? cant remember that... also its not that easy to run around as his first attack strikes you down, and im already hurt, so ive got no chance of getting away. but there must be some way to kill him.
i know that in the train i get the chance of diposing of him, but i cant run away the first encounter at the fuses.
so that is wahat really fucks me off...

Mind your language *waggles finger*
Ada throws you a rocket launcher if you manage to avoid him for a few minutes. You dont fight Mr X on the train, thats the Birkin Blob that you fight on the train.
As for being injured already, id say youre screwed...just keep at it until you find a way to kill him i say.
Actually, was it ever confirmed that it was Ada? That drops the Rocket Launcher?
Even though you can see Sherrys Pendant round the neck of the character, which Ada picks up, pretty convincing I have to admit, but still unconfirmed.
Also, just off topic slightly, which combination is correct according the story, Leon A and Claire B? Or Claire A and Leon B?
Im sure that in the one of the B scenarios (probably Claires) that its Annette Birkin that drops the Rocket Launcher.
I remember reading once that Wesker digs Adas body out of the rubble and revives her, unless I imagined that, if thats the case then it must mean that Ada really did fall to her death and would be unable to drop the Rocket Launcher.
well,kay, isnt that good to use the f word... i apologize. but it really is raging... argh! but ill try to avoid him and tell you if i was successful. but i think it depends on which story you play if ada dies. in leon B she definitly dies, but in Leon A she survives as she falls down. its a bit confusing and IMO the story should be played Leon A,LeonB Claire B,Claire A... its the asiest way to comprehense happenings...!?!

There was no official confirmation...but it is really obvious. The silhouette looks exactly like Ada, it is the same voice actor, and it is holding Sherrys pendant.
And there was nothing that i remember that says Wesker dug her body out of the rubble, Wesker just states that he had to revive her.
The best scenario composition that i see is Claire A-Leon B, as it fits together better this way.
Rather than being dropped, Ada is just kind of crushed...which means Wesker could have easily revived her, though it is hard to believe she would then run to Leon and throw him a rocket launcher...but suspension of belief is a must for a RE fan (Wesker back from the dead, zombies, mutants, etc).
It is either Claire A-Leon B or a subtle mixture of all 4 scenarios. Kind of like RE1 is a mixture of both Jill and Chris storylines.
im really pissed that i just cant flee from that damned t103... isnt there any cheat or smth else that can help me out??? he always busts me. i manage to stand max 20 secs against him, as he always dashes he can change directions and always gets me, no matter where i go... 4 hits and im finished...:cry:

This is the reason behind saving herbs and such during the main game...so you can heal enough to keep yourself alive until it is dead.

he isnt THAT (Nightmare from Metroid Fusion) hard. you should just keep loading game, you will beat him in the end. just take all your health and sprays with you because its actually the last boss. (well, there is another LAST boss, but he cant hurt you as far as I know, you just need to spare some ammo)

its not the first time and not the first game im playing through... i got poisoned and found a bit too late the antidotes... and as i found sherry i wasnt able to collect anything.
and if youre that hurt, every enemy gets hard! i also played metroid prime and prime 2, and both bosses were hard when i was hurt. i indeed will try it over and over again, but i just thought there might be an easier way... and i only have ARCs for REre and RE0... what is fun, when youve got barrys magnum. it really rocks!
