View Full Version : Any new Resident Evil collection for PS2-PS3 with RE:remake and RE:0 in??
Recently i saw ,on US site, a RE collection named The essentials where Veronica,4 and outbreak are sold together as a pack for PS2.Cant find it in europe though. Its only for US or in my country dont care that much for this title,so i cant find it anywhere??
Now my main question .
Are we ever gonna see any pack with RE:remake - RE 0 and RE:Code veronica or Outbreak in such collection pack??
I aint got Zero and Remake and i found them extremely good games. And nop i wont buy a GC just for 2 games even if i love them so much. Besides cant find the games anywhere, not to mention a GC to buy.And are the only games i havent played yet. Im a veteran of RE since the very first game on PSone (Also RE:DC - RE2 -RE3 nemesis)and Veronica on DC plus RE4 on PS2.
I missed the Lore-gore of the previous RE games already.
Im playing Re1+3 just for fun now. Even after i finished them around 8 times each already.Maybe more. After that ill finish Veronica i guess.I really like the old good style of RE zombie- T-G-virus style-bosses and all.
I was waiting for years for any news about remake or zero to port on PS2 but nothing. Do i still have any chances to see these game on PS2 or even PS3 as a pack since i never played them and want them (As many others like me) so freakin much?Anyone knows anything?
Thnx in advance

Gamecube ONLY for RE Zero and Remake? ...dont tell me you missed Super Smash Bros Melee.. (or F-Zero GX) Ill tell you what. go buy a Wii, Super Smash Bros Melee/Brawl or these 2 god awful Resident Evil GC games.. (Wii plays Gamecube games) you wont stop playing Smash Bros Melee until youve won the last Event match. I mean it.. even if its now 7 years old, its THAT good game.
anyway, Resident Evil Remake is a game only for fake people with no souls. its a dark, boring, and again BORING game with booooring soundtrack and your character walks slowly. Resident Evil Remake is boring. you know... Ive tried playing these games.. I bought RE Zero and Remake about 5 years ago and I still cant stand this game and I dont understand what is good about it. its the one of the most boring games Gamecube has to offer. Ive won it, played through it again because some people liked it. but I dont like this game at all.
if youre very interested into dark and heavy and slow games with lame soundtrack made by some sad person. then RE Zero and Remake is for you.

You just could buy it on ebay n play it on a Wii if u got one.
You can get Gamecubes for under œ25 now.
Resident Evil Re-Birth. Resident Evil Zero are IMO must haves.
Resident Evil CV is also better on Gamecube than ps2 IMO i do have both versions, no big black boarder, faster loading times, GC controller IMO is better suited for Resident Evil
GC controller IMO is better suited for Resident Evil
Resident Evil Outbreak would play great on a Gamecube controller.
but... the RE games that were made for Gamecube? ...naaah they would play a lot better on a PS2 controller.

I think the best controls has the Wii. The best version of Resi 4 was on Wii, the aiming is so much better, more quicker than with any other controller.

Exacly whats the point of having resident evil cv on the game cube and ps2 your just wasting money.

Never been a fan of the sony pads, dont like the layout at all.
Not overly fond of the GC pads but they worked perfectly for Resident Evil games.
The only pad i really like is the 360 pad its not perfect but IMO the best at the moment.
i dont like the game cube controller because its bulky and the buttons are all over the place. with ps2 its alot smaller and you know where the buttons are. so i stick with the best.

hm.... if theres 1 controller I wish should be used by nintendo all the way to this day.. its the Nintendo 64 controller. the N64 controller has got to be my favorite controller, its confusing looking at it, but its great and when youre playing games like Resident Evil 2 on N64 controller you can choose if you play it Playstation-stile or Gamecube-stile.
the PS2 controller can sometimes feel too small and it hurts your arms after playing it for about 4 hours.. at the time I played RE Outbreak online every hour of the day, I learned how to hold the controller in a good way.. having the controller close to your face. yeh.. that way I could play RE Outbreak all day without getting my arm hurt by that damn PS controller. some people have small arms, like Japanese people.. but people here at europe usually have big hands so its kinda annoying holding such a small controller.

I dont find that a problem with the GC pad.
I bought a gamecube so I could get RE Remake and RE0. They are truly must haves. b)
