Will Capcom's involvement with the PSP God of War wake them to a DMC?

I read that Capcom are involved in the Japanese release of God of War: Chains of Olympus - doing Japanese voiceovers etc. - after reading it I couldnt help but hope that Capcom realize the opportunity of finally greenlighting a PSP Devil May Cry. Its possible and it would be well received, and what perfect time than just around the release of DMC4...or are Capcom gauging the popularity by DMC4 sales (anybody care to share how well the game has done so far?)

I know it lacks L2 and R2 and many dont like the PSP controls - in which case this topic is not for you and feel free to click the lil x in the corner of your browser now - but I think it could work quite well.

The slim model improved the analog stick and the PSP desperately needs some intensive action titles like God of War and Devil May Cry.

I know its probably never going to materialize, but if only they could see how much we want it and how well it could do...minus the hacking and free downloading people do of PSP games.

Capcoms Osaka branch is only involved with publishing the title in the Japanese region (as well as the GTA series) but I dont think they really care about the fact theyre localising a game similar to DMC and as such should make on for themself. If anything, by publishing such a title in Japan, theyre already capturing that market and may not see a need for anything else.

Mind you, from what I hear from word of mouth, Devil May Cry 4 has done exceptionally well - in fact surprisingly well. Its amazing how much awareness there is for the title from many of my friends who I wouldnt of even considered gamers.

But yeah, to answer your question, maybe. I dont see it happening for a while though - but lets hope Im wrong. =P

If they do make a DMC PSP game, its going to be the push I need to get a PSP. MGS:PO looks good in itself, but need more titles on the same level.

Pah, Im not so keen on GOW, I would much rather have a new DMC on PSP.
