View Full Version : DualShock compatible PS3 titles

Does DMC4 have rumble enabled? I wanted to know whether it was worth picking up a dualshock along with a PS3 or just wait it out til MGS4..anybody have one of these controllers yet? Does anybody know where to get one cheaper than eBay? They go for like œ35-œ40 nearly.
II am not bothered as I dont use rumble on any console due to arthritis in my fingers which it aggravates.
Not sure if DMC4 has it but a lot off PS3 games have received a patch to enable the rumble
dvdboxoffice.com may be worth a look.
hm.. why to people like having rumble on?
actually, I have a story here.. the rumble makes me stressed.. and when Im playing a game and a huge monster is attacking you with the rumble on I freak out and pretty much die in the game.
while I was playing RE Outbreak file#2 online, the rumble was always on and I was always rather stressed while being attacked by zombies and stuff like that, but after a half year of playing the rumble got broken and the controller didnt shake.. so everything was pretty easier for me and I was always calm even if I was on friggin very hard mode with nightmare mode on. ah.. that reminds me of my PS2 keyboard.. I once bought one just for RE Oubreak, but then after a half year it got broken I was so friggin pissed that I had to write things with my joypad again.
lol, your story reminds me of a funny story too actually.....
nobody cares . Why cant you keep your analogies short n sweet like mine?
A game without force feedback feels strange...like grinding on THPS with a broken PS1 controller throws me off balance.
That site you linked me to sucked, Spike.
Its a shame this forum is so dead you get 10/20 times more views than responses.

the good old NES didnt have rumble.. not SNES or even 64.
but playing a game and you hear rrrrruuuuuuuuuu and controller shacking is just crappy and retarded IMO.
and what the hell does always that button in the middle of the PS1/PS2 controller stand for.. ANALOG wtf is that.. is that rumble off button or something?
You pair make me laugh.
Heard of personal preferences?
I would use rumble if my fingers werent knackered.

If you cant anwer the question, or cant help answering it, dont post at all.
Heres a list (http://kotaku.com/gaming/tgs07/the-list-of-ps3-games-that-support-the-dualshock-3-301734.php) (probably the same: backup list (http://uk.ps3.ign.com/articles/821/821358p1.html)), Devil May Cry 4 is a part of it.
DS3 for GBP 29,70 (http://global.yesasia.com/en/PrdDept.aspx/code-j/section-games/pid-1005069402/)
I hope that helped.
I wouldnt mind this... would be highly useful in some games I reckon. Such things like in COD4 having the ground shake when there is an air stirke etc. I only hope that the vibration and sixaxis dont interfer with each other.

I always wondered that.
P.s. N64 had rumble. I wish Ice wouldnt post in my topics. Just because the board is dead doesnt mean you can post any ol crap anywhere.
Also I was looking at the package info and it said it weights 500g...1/2 a kilo...surely that cant be right? Even fully packaged the sixaxis control I have now couldnt of weighted near that?

Well the battery life will have been extended for the rumble feature meaning the battery will probably be heavier and bigger. Not sure if that accounts for the whole weight increase but my bet it is.
I am sure the rumble wont interfere with the SIXAXIS as it will have be fully tested.

This is a load of crap. Sony came up with this excuse back when they were deep in the Immersion lawsuit as a reason for lack of rumble. In reality, Immersion proved that the SIXAXIS and Rumble would work symbiotically and as such make gameplay standard. So yeah, that was never a problem and still isnt.
I recommend DS3 to anyone with a PS3. You really dont realise what youve got until youve lost it.

I want one for the added weight as the current one seems to be to light and flimsy and TBH feels cheap.
But the rumble I dont use as I explained in a earlier post.

youre... kidding me? all of my 4 N64 controls do not rumble. just played it to test out RE2 and F-Zero X so they wont die of out dusty-ness..
you must have some kind of hyper combat N64 controller made by god. or maybe I played my N64 too much that the rumble has limited or something.
and.. well, you wish I wouldnt write into your topics. you wrote in my Worst RE game topic. wait.... whaaat the hell happened to it. its gone o_o and I was so proud of it :(

Rumble Pa(c)k.
Even if you dont like the rumble feature, its still a very good buy. The controller gets heavier, so it becomes more comfortable.

Thats what I was hoping for as I hate the current one.
Dont get me wrong though I am planning on getting one. I like the rumble. I just didnt think that the weight they gave on the site was correct. Does not really bother me if it is though...need to work on my arm muscles.

Dont forget the weight will include packaging.
Ah I see that jokes are not lost on you Spike
Ah I see that jokes are not lost on you Spike
You will need your muscles more to open the packaging.
I prefer using sissors much easier.
On topic though. Does anyone have a list of games that are Ds compatable? Or ones with downloadable content to support it?
triple seven posted a link on the first page.
Firstly that is a link not a list...and you were being so helpful why make me look so foolish eh?

Yeah, like I said, the list is old. Lost Planet, while not on the list, offers rumble.
o/
thanks 777, i miss the old rumble. Lost Planet NEEDS it! >=D
interesting, Ive noticed that those titles have rumble features in their Xbox360 versions.

And constantly moaning about it isnt going to make it suddenly vanish over night, no one is backing you in to a corner with a gun to your head and forcing you to buy a DualShock controller, and even if you wanted a nice new pad, you could always switch the vibration off, I have not seen a game to date that has ever denied a player to do this.

and your endless moaning about an answer to 777 that I made long ago isnt helping much.

To be honest you were the one who re-started the whole thing 5 days or so after it had been settled. With that in mind I think all of this should be left behind now. So please, just leave it be.
P.S.:
I deleted your post Ice, simply because this has to stop now.
