DMC 4, what the...?

Apparently DMC 4 is the worst installment of the series. Ive played DMC 2 & 3 and i found them both to be two great games. So when i heard DMC 4 was coming out i saved up and bought it. But before i did, i was told that i shouldnt because its not got the great standard that the others have.
But come on, DMC 4 is excellent. I cant find one fault with it. :)

anyway, wasnt DMC2 the worst or something?
Ive only played DMC3 and 4.
but when I first got DMC3 I found it to be cool at the first stage as it was my first DMC experience, then I turned off the game at the second level as it was very boring and I died once and went to play some kick ass Outbreak. and Ive never actually enjoyed the DMC series.. the hack n slash thing is great, the soundtrack is fine, but cmon.. they have so extremely boring level design. Ive seen DMC2 gameplay and I like it as its slow and Dante is old which makes it more cool.. I really want to play some kick ass crappy DMC1 or lame DMC2 than some new DMC3 and 4 with boring Character design.. young Dante? Nero? those 2 are my most hated characters from the series.. anyway, Ive kinda stopped playing my DMC4 for some reason after I started playing old Dante.. OH, its because of Gears of War, that game rocked so much that I started playing my 360 all the way and ignored my PS3.. gotta start playing DMC4 again.

There is so many things wrong with the game its laughable.

First the lack of content is just wow so crappy, so many thing where said about dmc4 like how it was stated that therewould be more weapons than all of the previous games combined etc. and we only get 3 (not including neros default weps). We get no extra costumes 6 difficulties which HoH & HoH dont really count because there so patheticly easy and you only need to do them for the achievements. Thus lowering the replay value, even DMC2 had more replay value.

The story sucks, sure ok it starts off good, but thats how its left, nothing explained and were left with more questions...
The graphics and gameplay seem to be the only thing they got right, other than the lighting.

Personally i love this game but got through it way to quickly and now its sat on my shelf gathering dust, and im not the one bit urged to play it. which is alet down because im still urged to play the other 3 dmc games.

DMC4 is in no way the worst in the series. In my opinion DMC2 is the worst because the combat was not as good as even DMC1 and dante had no personality. In contrast to this, DMC4 has great gameplay, GREAT videos and dante and nero havegood personalities.
