Apparently theres a fourth installment of the resi movies. And they are replacing Milla Jovovich with ali larter.
some people will be happy some wont be happy.

They wont get rid of Milla Jovovich. They wouldnt just remove the main character for no reason. This article has probably made everything up.
Its just possible that Resident Evil Afterlife (the fourth movie) will be following Claire Redfield and the survivors on their journey to Alaska, to see if there are people there that havent been infected, like a side story, but I hope its just as action packed. I think Milla will come back in the fifth movie, which there will have to be if Milla isnt in the fourth movie, because that would just leave one rediculously large loose end.

Yes, because they have control over whether or not a sequel is made. How vague could you possibly get?
If it sucks, dont watch it. If it pains you that much then ignore it.
Much like Onimusha, etc. no game has been made into a great film - who cares?
Theyre two totally different medium, of course theyre going to lose most of the integrity in the translation.
A game is interactive and engaging and movies just feel dull in comparison.
How do you know a film sucks till you watch it?

I have heard that a new film by resident evil comes out it means resident evil underground with milla Jovovich as a principal.

im not sure about another movie referring to RE... i was really upset, as i watched the first title. it is all mixed up... there is no real RE feeling or character inside the movies... milla is good, no doubt, but i ithink i cant stand much more movies. i just watch them to check if there is any improvement, but i stay disappointed. no, i think after afterlife should be the ending of the movieseries.
They are getting a good sum of money on these films, so surely theyve been enjoyed by a lot of ppl. Frankly, the films could have been a bit better, but I really dont they sucks. Ive also heard that the original plans were to make them much more similar to the games, some problems derailed their original ideas for the plot...
The movies are just too much action i miss that slight of horror and some person that has goodlike strength without being mutated is crap too i hope the next ones are abit better.
well im hoping ali larter replaces milla because claire redfield is more of a action hero than alice, plus claire has no super powers shes survived in resi2,codeveronica and extinction.
plus leon might be mentioned and we even might see sherry too.

I found Resident Evil 5 diffrent trailer at www.residentevil.com ..
it takes time till the next trailers are around... and as formyself, here are few new information about the film... but i could think that in RED jill also gets mentioned. at least i hope so, because after RE apocalypse she just disappeared...so what happened to her?

Ohh you are right i just remember here ..
I confess I actually liked Alice in the first movie but that was becasue there she was a human figthing against all odds.
The character Alice was cool only when she was human,human enough to feel for her comrades death and when she was emotional.
She had kung-fu attributes that was almost like Ada which was ok I guess as it was not half as overdone as Ada in RE4 in the first one anyway.
In RE2 they made her a monster litterly.
In RE3 they made her invincible that kicks pretty much anyone else asses all the time while looking down on other characthers like if they where infirior.
WTF both Jill and Claire had probably seen and kicked Zombie butts long before Alice even got her super powers and that without using any powers of their own just pure human survival.

I could believe the character of Alice in the first movie! The only reason zombies are interesting is because they are scary. Zombies are not scary if ladies with superpowers can annihilate them worldwide in 10 seconds.
Much of these where because of Anderson scripting so I hope if its truly is Sherry in RE5 she and if she goes BOW does not turn into an Alice.
But ofcourse Capcom is sligthley better in scripting characters but just barley but compared to Anderson genius.
I can almost say already now that Degeneration will be better then the real life movies whetever its a failure like the first Final Fantasy movie or not is to debate but most likley better then the movies.
As you can hear I would never want Alice in the game series at all and hope to god that if Sherry goes BOW she does not turn into an Alice.
Also thus hope if they do chooses to make a fourth RE movie does not include Alice.

Im not sure if the book of the movie can be considered canon, but if so...then Jill finds herself in...Boston i think. After arriving there, she sorts out a survivors group and starts a new life.
