Not sure if I'm reading into this too much, but Capcom Unity's twitter has had an interesting update overnight:
Hard at work on Tokyo Game Show plans. Several new games to be announced in Japan, lots of new content for LP2, TvC, DR2. Exciting!
Several new games, eh? Does anyone wanna take a punt to see what we'll see announced from Capcom at TGS 2009? It's only a month away, after all. :D:D

Well, I'm still on the fence as to whether or not they will announce a new Devil May Cry. Going by what was said at Captivate, next year might be when we'll next hear from them regarding the franchise.
However, anything could have happened which resulted in the company deciding to announce a new title at TGS instead. So I think Devil May Cry 5/spin-off is a likely bet. It has been nearly two years since Devil May Cry 4 anyway.
Then there are franchises such as Mega Man which will no doubt get an additional title.
Maybe a new Monster Hunter is announced? With Freedom Unite and Tri out of the way, the Monster Hunter team would surely tease the crowds with their next project. Of course, localization is required for the western releases so they might delay any such announcement.
We've also got the Onimusha franchise which could see a revival given the movie coming out some point in the future. Would be a perfect way to raise publicity for the franchise as a whole.
Strider has also been mentioned numerous times where a remake/sequel is concerned so I think this is a valid possibility. Maybe a PSN/XBL remake ala Bionic Commando ReArmed?
Lastly, I'm sure that we'll see a brand new title altogether for one/two/three formats and the odd PSN/XBL title will be announced, along with some new game announcements regarding PSOne classics (which could technically be classed as a new game announcement :P).
The two franchises I DON'T see being mentioned are Resident Evil and Street Fighter. Both have had their spotlight this year, although I'm sure Capcom will announce new details on the PSP Resident Evil.
But hey, anything could happen, right?
