Has anyone heard about this story. Bruce Everiss who used to work for Codemasters and now blogs about video games is being sued by the makers of Evony (the one whose adverts have been everywhere on the internet). An interesting story, take note any gaming bloggers ;)

There's no chance they'll win the case.
It's freedom of speech, with the writers sharing an opinion on a game that is open to the public. Are they going to sue every person in the world that dislikes the game, or just the ones that talk about it publicly?
This is one hell of a way to lose their customers to...

I think evony is trying to make themselves look tough... Its not like Jagex goes and sues everyone that thinks runescape sucks and writes about it publicly. It is freedom of speech and actually rather funny what evony is trying to do.
Also, evony is a rip off of sid meiers civilization that i have except its boring.
I read that earlier today. The game just have dodgy written all over it, and their certainly case isn't going anywhere. -Especially not seeing as they've ripped Age of Empires game assets.

This story sounds a bit fishy, the game sounds a bit dodgey, lawyers are scary people (from what I have heard). All in all this tale freaks me out.
I always feel like someone is watching me :slamdoor::scared::pit::spy:!
