am i right in thinking this game is out this friday in the uk?
I thought I would add it in here...Can anyone tell me when Lost Planet will be out on PS3? Or even if it already is? Thanks.

Rent before you buy.
Do you believe it is that bad then??? That even at œ20 its not worth it?
œ22.97 is about right for the price.
Yes it is a terrible port of a game thats been out over a year.
To pay more than œ22.97 is a crime really.
The online is fun but the problems setting up a private game is not easy to do, also trying to get into random games can be hard at times with connection problems
I was more curious as to how it played? Is it enjoyable to play? Or would I have more fun watching paint dry?

Renting - and playing - it should give you a pretty good idea. In my opinion the story is ridiculous, once more, and the gameplay is a case of youve played level 1, youve played them all.
Having to search and shoot coins to unlock things simply sucks. It appears - despite what 1up has claimed - there are no missions for Luka specifically. Ive collected all the target markers (coins) and all it does is unlock here as a model for multiplayer. Unless theres some button combination you have to use in addition. Which may very well be since you dont get told what you unlocked anyway, before visiting the character selection screen (online) that is.
It seems Capcom is on the best way to become completely Americanized. So yeah, it depends on the particular paint.
i found it a very good port. no glitching like other ported games, well done Capcom. i tried to play the offline demo on the 360, but now i use the PS3 controller the 360 version is more annoying to play, as the button configuration is different, sadly >=/
