View Full Version : SF 3rd Strike on the PSN PLEASE!!
Street fighter 3rd strike is one of the best games of the entire ST saga. Unfortunatly for some reason it seems that it was never or released on the Ps2 in the UK. Ive been searching for a PAL copy of 3rd strike for about a month now but to no avail. Is it actually possible that there are no copies?
IF so then its a shame and capcom need to correct it by putting it on PSN right?! :)

The only way to get 3rd Strike on PAL is as a DreamCast version or the Xbox version of Street Fighter Anniversary Collection. As you said there was no PS2 edition of the game for us.

If it were on PSN I'd end up buying my 3rd copy of the game, don't know if I like the thought of that too much. :p
But it is a fantastic game, deserving of a release.
Though the idea sounds good about putting on PSN their are 3 main reasions why it won't happen.
90%+ ps3 don't play ps2 games.
The Ps2 versions are japanese
To get anther platform PAL version of the game on PSN would mean licencing issues

I can see it happening. I'll be damned if it doesn't. If(When..?) it does happen they more than likely will add online. It's still popular enough to implement the feature, at least even as a later patch.
So yeah, Third Strike on PSN/Live would be grrrreat! Better than Frosties!

They already had online with it for the Xbox version.
This game should appear on psn. The fantastic sf turbo hd remix on psn and now the incredible m vs c2 shows that people are buying these games and enjoying every minute! The new logo "fans talked we listened" has never been so true. If the fans want the games then it makes sense to make the games! Now if your listening capcom i would also like sfa 3 and capcom vs snk 2!! In fact there should be a capcom channel on psn where you can download every streetfighter......Now that would be heaven:horray:

I'd support either some kind of PSN release or on a PS3 compilation disc with SF1 and 2 (maybe even SSF2HD).
Wasn't it leaked that some Dreamcast games getting released on the PSN? It's a long shot...
Other than that there's some Region-Free thingy discs that you can use to play imported games. Most cheat discs (Xploder, Gameshark ect.) came with one built in.

A Street Fighter 3 collection would've sounded better, but i'm fine if it's just Third Strike:D
