Look, when you're close to the action, sometimes games like Dead Nation (http://kotaku.com/tag/dead-nation/) slip through the cracks. While at Gamescom this week, we didn't get to devote much time to quietly announced PSN games like Dead Nation. But obviously we should, because it's a zombie killing twin stick shooter for the PlayStation Network (http://kotaku.com/tag/playstation-network/)—which could benefit from another twin stick shooter—and it's from Housemarque. You know, the Super Stardust HD guys. Yes, them!
So while we may be focused on other, bigger games at Gamescom, Dead Nation needs a little love. Make a note of it, particularly because the zombie shooting game market is getting a bit crowded these days.

i saw the advert a few days ago on the ps store. (under gamescom 2009 section).
looks good. i probably will buy it. :D

it's always nice to see an old-style game with new graphics.

This game looks like a lot of fun.

I wouldn't really class it on the scale of Left4Dead but it will certainly be a popular little title I think. :]

Oh yes, Burn Zombie Burn is really addictive, and this will probably be on the same scale. It'll be a buy from me.
Thanks for the purchase advice, Spike :D

To me it looks like Hunter The Reckoning or Monster Madness with a Left4Dead type setting. While I find that type of game fun for a while, they quickly lose their appeal. It's the amount of repetition.
