View Full Version : Capcom Vs. ??? (you choose)
If you could choose characters for a Street Fighter game, who would they be? How would it go? Where would the fights take place and stuff? Even if (like me) you have no realistic ideas, there must be some people you would like to beat up...in a video game with no real life consequences of course. Here are some of my suggestions...
CAPCOM VS. DISNEY
I've always wanted to kick the crap out of Winnie the Pooh...but he's a fictional character and it's just not possible. However, being able to give him a devastating dragon punch with Ryu would suffice. If I was making this game I would insist on lots of blood and that the Disney characters had no invented special powers. I'm not very fond of Disney stuff, see.
CAPCOM VS. DENTISTS
I don't like dentists. They scare me with their noisy drills and white coats and stuff. Fighting them on Street Fighter might make me feel better...although it probably wouldn't help me conquer my irrational phobia. The fights would take place at the dentist and, if you kick your opponent into the dentist chair, you get to unleash a Dental Care Ultra Combo. This would entail using bricks and hammers to remove some teeth.
CAPCOM VS. YOUR OWN BOSSES
Using digital photos taken at work, the game allows you to create your own boss and destroy them at your own workplace with Street Fighter characters. But instead of special moves, the evil management give you written warnings, bad advice and inflict unreasonable temper tantrums on you to make it realistic. Then you get to bite their faces off with Blanka.

I think I see where you're going with this and I like it :) I think they should make all the Kingdom Hearts characters even lamer than the Disney ones to punish them for teaming up with with Donald Duck.
Cammy, Sagat and Akuma Vs. Bambi, Kairo and The Little Mermaid at Disneyland Stage. The mermaid, being out of water of course, just sort of flaps around on the floor quite uselessly as you 'tiger knee' her in her face. And anyone who has any objections to that because they have a thing for The Little Mermaid really has issues. She's half fish! On the half you need the most! lol

Whatever. That thread is so two months ago and full of dull, realistic ideas. Nothing like this one which is oozing with imagination and amusing suggestions lol.
BTW, I like the Capcom Vs. Namco and Capcom Vs. Nintendo ideas above. However, if the Nintendo one ever got made (which could be possible) you can be sure that it would only get released on the Wii or DS. I think a Wii Fit Capcom Vs. Nintendo game would be good. Not that I feel uncomfortable jumping around the living room doing kung-fu stuff for no reason at all.
However, there could be certain health risks to the Wii game, like when I hadokened an old lady in town the other day. There was blood and shopping all over the place. 'Sorry about that,' I said. 'I didn't think it would actually work.' She looked up at me with a glazed eyes and replied 'I think I'm having another stroke'. I ran away, but I'm sure she was fine.

Exactly what I was going to say! Too bad the Tales series isn't known too well in Europe.
Also an Arc System Works vs Capcom could turn out one sided or be pretty darn awesome.

Yeah I would like to see more Tales released in Europe, only played Tales of Symphonia but loved it!
Nice list Zoroba. These are the kind of games I'd like to play. Capcom Vs. World Politics would satisfy me greatly. Smacking up Gordon Brown, Robert Mugabe, Vladimir Putin, Kim Jung-il and the royals would become routine after watching the news. I can think of many others that could be included on the roster too.
Capcom Vs. Angry Soccer Parents would also be a good laugh...although I'd prefer Camcom Vs. Pushy Parents and their Performing Children. I'd also like to beat up some boy bands. Smashing up their equipment and their stage would be a nice feature to add to that one :)

I had some serious ideas in my last post aswell.
I'd love to see Arc System vs. Capcom. And I think that could happen, since Arc System developed Sengoku Basara X for Capcom :)
Koei vs. Capcom would be really awesome, and so would TMNT vs. Capcom.
And I would LOVE to see another SNK vs. Capcom game. I think Capcom vs. SNK 2 is the best cross over title ever.

I would actually be very impressed if Capcom made a Super Smash Bros style fighting game, with all the Capcom characters from all the different games brought together.

Ryu (breath of fire) vs Mega Man
The possibilities would be endless and they proved that it would be possible with Snake being in brawl with different animation styles of the Nintendo cast. It just shows that all the different Capcom games could come together in a similar way.

Ah Capcom vs Sega, now that would be interesting, especially if they put Aiai and Gongon from Monkey Ball in :p.
ryu vs totoro? i dont think the fluffy and sweet world of ghibli would work in a beat em up! though i would love to see games based on the ghibli films as they are awesome!
