View Full Version : The Point of Lady...?
I mean comon, i know they put her in there for fans, but what was the point 2 scenes? Even Gloria got more than that. I just wish they could of had her tag alone, or done a little demon hunting of her own (ala mission 6 opening dmc3) its the same with Trish, she just walks around with 2 guns.
So ok this wasnt Dantes, Trishs or Ladys game, they where just guests but the game was really lacking alot of things besides the main characters of DMC. TBH i kinda wish it would of stayed PS exclusive, just so they didnt make Nero >_>
But moving on anyway, anyone else dislike the lack of original characters?

So your telling me that if DMC stayed PS exclusive Nero woudnt be in the game?

People who dont like Nero either havent played the game or havent really paid any attention to the development of him as a character. Sure, the story is sub par, but regardless they did an excellent job establishing Nero.
As for Lady? Well she was most definitely fan service, though I cant see any other reason as to why they included her besides just that. She WAS responsible for letting Dante & Trish know about The Order though. I guess they just wanted to show us that Lady acts independently to Devil May Cry though sometimes joins in on the fun.
Trish? Well her involvement was alright. She was somewhat pivotal in the story for she did provide The Order with a special something in order to, er, well I wont spoil it for anyone.
Regardless, the inclusion of both the chicks in the game was merely fan service - to the point they went over the original creators way - that he wanted a new girl every game, like a bond girl, to quote him.
Im all for PS but how does making a game only on one console effect character changes?
Considering Nero was in the TGS06 trailer and the multiplatform concept was introduced in what, early 2007, I dont see how Nero wouldnt be in the game if it was PS3 exclusive.

Anyway i know Nero is an interesting character im just put off by him, but still maing a bond girl in every game sounds cool, but who was the bond girl in DMC4? Trishs alter-ego? because i cant see kyrie being one.

Duh, my bad, im not with it today. well im glad they scratched that idea, Devil may cry just wouldnt be what it is without Trish ;)
And as for the point of Lady ... simple:
BOOBS.
The main characters, Dante, Nero, are bulls. I dont mean brainless muscles, but handsome, strong, full of pheromons men that attract women like Trish, Lady etc. so its easy to figure that if there wasnt any girl nearby, they would be considered ... gay ;)
Besides,as for Lady, it werent just two scenes. In dmc3 she was a boss, she had quite a good relationship with her dear papa and all of that put some dramatic drop in the whole story.

Thats just so weird, that they give them bigger boobs and a hotter body, just to attract more of an audience, but whats better than boobs and a great body?
Boobs and a great body kicking-ass which alas DMC4 did not have, now if Lady wore what she was wearing now in DMC3.......:|
