Already tipped for an Oscar etc. etc.

However, what are your thoughts on it? I'm not totally blown away myself, yet would give the film a chance without a doubt.

That site confused me, so here's another link for anybody that gets the same:

brb, not real trailer (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iYBRFJ9RArc)

At the moment, I'm a bit "meh" about this film.

I'll watch it, but I don't really know what to expect.

it seems... interesting... I guess... without a proper trailer, I hardly know what to expect though xD;

Well from what I could understand from the bbc review it is a revolutionary 3-d film where humans travel to a planet to either enslave/colonize or create new medicines due to the fact that the trailer shows a paralyzed soilder receiving treatment which makes him look slightly more like the alien creatures and being able to stand

I found this trailer:

'm not entirely convinced at the moment.

It looks nice...but James Cameron goes either way with his films...excellent, or tragically bad.

i'm way to geek to avoid this film, but i still don't understand what i'm going to watch :D
i read that with their new technologies and lenses (lenses in CG graphics? yeah, i don't really know what they meant) this movie will look 3D even without those 3D glasses :confused:

You will need 3-d glasses but the method they are using makes the 3-d more subtle and not in your face making it more realistic
