Close to the North American release? Huzzah! Square-Enix are finally cutting down on ridiculous waiting times for us Euro folk. Good news indeed.

I'm not fussed about this, but Lindsey says "Yaaaaay!!!"
*shrugs*
I have not enjoyed the last few FF but still i will give this a go.
Thank God! Hopefully, this will leave FF12 behind as a horrible memory. Or be a shinier, more metallic version of it. Woooooooo!

FF12 wasn't really bad actually
i liked the new Gambit system and the structure of the fights, and some creatures and characters were good to see
but if you're thinking about the story i really have to agree with you...all those politics were so boring and everything but catchy or interesting
and some main characters were so vain and linear, just like Square-Enix forgot how to make decent protagonists in their games

Quite looking forward to this - hopefully it fills the void of jRPGs that I've been struggling to fill ever since I almost finished Tales.
Also, this is alledgedly three discs on 360.

Same.

Not really surprised. Can't expect a game such as Final Fantasy XIII to be placed on one DVD only, dual-layered or not. Far too big.
However, I also find it petty how it's caused a big issue among the gaming public. I mean, have we really become that lazy as time went by? I never used to have an issue switching discs on my PSOne as it was a two second process.
Some gamers find it an inconvenience and others find it a convenience if it were on one. Whatevs.

I was reading some people's blogs about this yesterday.
Some people are getting ridiculous about the "multiple discs" thing, saying that "In this generation, it is unacceptable" which is an utterly ridiculous argument.
It's as if they are basically saying that games should not get bigger, and should forever remain the same size as Final Fantasy 7...
I find it strange how some people think.
Multiple disc's have never botherd me and never will.
Oh yeah, I saw this multi-disk argument popping up in every topic that involved Lost Odyssey. I mean, if you can't be ar...bothered to move your arm (or God forbid, stand up and move a foot or two), then how can you be bothered to even move your fingers to press buttons. I mean, all that effort...it's unthinkable!
I actually like it when a game comes in multi-disk. It makes me feel like there's more value for money...even if it is the exact same game as when there is only one disk.
