View Full Version : At long last I have found an Arcade!
Earlier this week I found an Arcade where I heard there was SFIV so I went to check it out today but not only did I find SFIV, I found a load of other fighting games including SFIII 3rd Str, MVC2, a few SNK ones and even a Japanese Blazblue!
So yea, basically whoever is interested in going there (they set them all to be best of 5 and £1 is 2 credits) it is labelled as a Casino which is right next to Goodge Street Station (on the Northern Line).
I thought I might just let you know as Arcades with Fighters are very rare here in UK.

arcades with fighters are hard to find almost everywhere... you can find tekken 4 or 5 if you're lucky easily, but i didn 't see any SF4 arcade yet
however, imho what an Arcade MUST have is Dance Dance Revolution :D
Very true. But every arcade I've been to has had the very popular yet I never see people play it Time Crisis 3.
Lol that would be casino arcade on tottenham court road, its were the capitals best play, troc at piccadily circus has sf4 too but its twice as expensive as casino at a quid a cred.
Sweet. I'm going down London very soon for Get Loaded In The Park. Might check out this arcade if we get chance. I don't know of any arcades in the North at all...except for the amusement arcades on the coast but all the machines are old and crappy. Soft toy grabbers and penny pushers are still the big thing. And all the people in them look poor and depressed. Lots of large families with crying, malnourished children. They turn up the volume on all the machines to disguise the high pitched sound of children sobbing and they have special carpets to soak up the tears of poverty.
Great thing I love about this arcade is that it has Blazblue! Seriously, I don't think it is even released in US yet the owner imported a copy. Also they hold monthly competitions which I would like to enter one day (and get absolutely punished in seconds). It is what I call heaven now! Very generous the owner is.
It sounds like heaven! Blazblue and Street Fighter IV! I wish they had a place like this up North. In fact, no I don't. The poor people would just spoil it and I'd never go.

I'm surprised you only just found out about this, actually. I haven't been there in ages. Friends aren't too into arcade games to drag them all there whenever we hang out.
I've honestly never even seen a Street Fighter machine. I've seen a variety of Tekken machines though. Oh and I've never seen Mortal Kombat machines either.
Do mortal Kombat Machines even exist in the UK?
Sorry to revive but could someone find out what time the Casino closes on Sunday?
