A prequal to the DMC series with SPARDA???

I have always wandered if CapCom would ever make Devil May Cry with Sparda and it would show how he met Dantes and Virgils mother..... well how it all BEGAN really that would be really cool if they ever did do it.

Firstly - this belongs in the Devil May Cry board. Secondly, my answer =P.

I reckon it would definitely be interesting to play as Sparda during his moment of glory - covering both his meeting with Eva as well as the origins of Vergil and Dante. Though, with all the backlash that DMC4 is getting from fans who wanted Vergil to be in it - Capcom would have to be very careful to come up with some formula to include Vergil in all his glory again.

what about a all in one game that runs through the history of sparda and then onto dante and vegil and then nero as the blu-ray disc can handel so much more and with a download file could make the best game-play ever!

Wishful thinking speaking here. As is also indicated by mentioning Vergil before Dante. Frankly speaking the depth of the story of the series and of most of its characters have become irrelevant, as far as I can tell. Anything could happen next.

One things relatively sure though, no one in their right mind will put 3 new, full games on a Blu-Ray disc. You wouldnt necessarily burn 5 million in cash just because you can either.

Hmmm i cant see them making a game with Sparda as the main character, i just hope if they do make the next DMC that Dante will be the main character or Trish(i can dream cant i?) or maybe a spinoff with Lady, Lucia & Trish (FFx-2? :dead: ) Just kidding.

But yeah it would be interesting to finally get some light on the Sparda/Eva story possibly show her death and how Dante/Vergil reacted, but i guess that would be going into to much depth for CAPCOM

If they start making DMC like resident evil,
i mean with Prefix to the name like RE Dead Aim or code veronica X etc then we might get some more info to Spardas story.

I think a semi free roaming DMC would be awesome where Dantes shop serves as a hub where you ccan take jobs,Continue the story etc...Or maybe a more RPG variant
