is dmc4 compatible for macs? if not, why not? will it come out?

Doesnt look like it, and I probably wouldnt hold my breath.
the mac isnt a very popular gaming platform so not many games actually get a release on it, other than a few exceptions like world of warcraft. the mac is and always has been an almost purely professional format.
like james said, dont hold your breath for a DMC4 release.
